-fortnite style battle pass
Omg I might actually switch over to borderlands because of this ridiculousness

Their's only 2 things that would make me not want to buy Shadowkeep and that's lack of content and lack of achievements. If this ends up being another curse of osiris. I will not be supporting this game anymore.

I will probably not buy Shadowkeep, or not immediately, but that won't stop me playing Destiny 2. I will visit the Moon, read some review and then decide. But right now i am really sceptical about the path Destiny 2 is taking.

All I want from SK are the new patrol zones for my daily 30 min of mindless kaboom! I have zero interest in Bungie`s new inventions cause they are boring crap for a long time, and killed Destiny for me as a real game I care about.

I was reluctant after Activision dropped them, but I was hoping that with full creative control they’d be less.... douchey.... after the announcements regarding their “stuff goes away” and this battlepass bullshit, I cancelled my collectors edition preorder of Shadowkeep. Sad to have seen Bungie go this route but I have to remind myself the Bungie we all knew and loved who had actual passion for their game and respect for their customers, died with the Halo franchise.

6 RepliesI smelled bullshit from miles away when they said Destiny is going "Free To Play" and somehow still charging premium to access all new story/activities alongside Eververse. Not to mention they're throttling Bright Dust. And don't get me started about deleting activities at the end of seasons. They only thing we get for free in SK is half a battle pass for cosmetics, one exotic, and a reskinned patrol area. F2P Destiny is "Free To PATROL" Destiny 😂😂

Same bro. I want them to be successful but the way seasons work now I’m not a fan. Like for example Bungie was able to cut down Destiny 1 from the 80 GB it was at the end to 44.6 GB (on Xbox) today. I feel they should not delete content and instead just optimize it.

Both valid things to be annoyed with, but you can get Borderlands 3, play that for a couple weeks AND e ShadowKeep on Oct 1. Or get ShadowKeep later in October, or in November, or December, if you’re enjoying BL3 and want to not rush through it. Play what makes you happy, my fiend. Or play what makes you miserable, if that kind of thing makes you happy. :P
