I believe that Banshee-44 should own a firing range in the tower. It would give more use to him and would give players a chance to test out new weapons (or armor) and play mini challenges or trials.

It'd be perfect if it had a little damage counter, too. They could just take the soccer field out, rework it, and boom. Done.
-
Waste of time. Just go to a planet and use the Destiny app. Problem solved. Plus they can’t do it at the tower all weapons are disabled. They would have to make an entirely new area that you have to load into, making it pointless.
-
That’s what Trostland is for
-
It seems like a good idea at first but it is really just wasted time for bungie that could be focused on other things
-
I'd like that.
-
you mean PVE?
-
9 RepliesCrucible is where you test weapons According to the lore if is the training ground for guardians so they can fight the darkness Unless we remove crucible altogether(should happen) and replace it with a firing range🤔
-
They should add dancers that serve drinks
-
3 RepliesDamage are inconsistent across the game anyway.
-
3 RepliesIf they added that then they'd put Gulrot out of a job! Being an ogre is tuff work man
-
A firing range like the one in Battlefield 4 would be so awesome.
-
And poker tables
-
We have a firing range It’s called patrols! 🦆➰🔫
-
Im thinking thats what the triumph hall is. Simulations for testing and stuff. Plus Calus wouldnt be against it and it makes sense in Leviathan lore
-
11 RepliesI've never understood why people ask for this, so please enlighten me. I get it in MHW or a fighting game where you need a tutorial to learn combos for different weapons. For MHW the training area makes sense. In D2 we have lots of places to go shoot things. What would you get out of another place to shoot the guns?

Edited by Fendaxis: 7/4/2019 9:49:16 PMNot until they put an arcade/ rec room in the tower. Gimme a foosball table, some ping pong, a tv, some...
-
the farm as a firering range would be great.

Edited by Necrogen: 7/4/2019 7:30:54 PMDidn't even read your post and said yes to your title. Make it happen bungie. Give us some data on accuracy and dps on the screen for results after we finish shooting.

2 RepliesEdited by TheShadow-cali: 7/4/2019 6:31:30 PMEdit: This is a legit question here. What purpose will this actually serve knowing Bungie likes to hide the actual damage any weapon does and other info gamers have requested that you can't see in PvP? I mean, you can't even see just your teammates health. I don't believe adding unnecessary content especially knowing that you will not get a real accurate number or anything on how weapons actually perform in this game. That would be like Bungie telling the truth on how certain things rarely work in this game like hidden perks. Not going to happen... Think about this for a moment, In d1 Bungie capped the entire y1 of d1 at 170. Reason being that gamers weren't using the weapons they wanted them to use, gamers were using what they wanted to. This would only case gamers to not want to use a lot of weapons and Bungie will have none of that.

Been asking for this since D1
-
5 RepliesBut We have patrol. If you want a controlled environment go do lost sectors!! This isn't something we need, it's just wasted resources
-
Edited by iwanttolikediescoob: 7/4/2019 6:54:40 PMI could see this being useful as a more controlled testing environment. That way you don't have to worry about other guardians or other enemies messing up the testing of weapon damages or healing effects or stuff like that.
-
Id rather the Farm, but yea! Ive asked for this since D1 beta. So, Im pretty sure it aint gonna happen.
-
A firing range has even asked for since d1. If they haven’t put one in now I doubt they ever will.
-
4 RepliesWhat's the difference from that and just going to patrol???
-
1 ReplyAs handy as that would be I’d kinda rather they didn’t bother. That would take devs and resources away from making other things like more strikes and PvP maps.
