If I may, I’d like to offer some advice for future parents out there or even current parents if this pertains to you.
Please do not live vicariously through your child. It is an extremely high % that no matter how good you think your child is at “x” sport, activity ect. they are more than likely not as good as you think they are.
This is a link to a example of parents acting like complete and total idiots. Please do not do this. Support your child but never EVER take it this far.

My advice. Contraception.

9 RepliesYou should see swim parents...

My advice is if your child is crying, hitting it with a stick is an option, but not recommended.

1 ReplyWhile that is good advice, I think it should be stated that most these people these days, before you become parents, please get spayed and neutered! You will be doing everyone on Earth, round or flat, a service!

3 Replies: Don’t have kids.

1 ReplyIf you can, spend a week living with a newborn. Spend a week living with a two-year old. Spend a week living with a teenager. If you still want to have kids, go for it!

Edited by OldboyVicious: 6/19/2019 9:14:30 PMWhen you have failed at life and are past your prime so it’s too late for a new start, have children. Make sure they grow up to be rich and famous so you can live off of their wealth. Try and make sure they are millionaires before they are of legal age so you can control all the money. Show the children that succeeding at any cost and getting your way at all times by any means necessary is the only acceptable path. Whoever wins the fight in an all out brawl at a little league game is guaranteed to have their kid make the pros. If they can’t be good at sports, make them artistic by giving them a really messed up childhood. In general, with few exceptions, the most successful and famous and rich artists, from musicians to painters to actors, have severe emotional issues. So make sure to emotionally scar your kids. Give them no attention at all, unless they also get attention from others, you know, like in public you praise and support them profusely but in private you ignore them. This will help then crave the attention of crowds, and if you do it right, leave them with an emotional joke that can only be filled with the support of millions of adoring fans, causing them to become famous at all costs. As their life descends into a vapid wasteland of drugs, meaningless sex, and hollow approval seeking from the masses, you can sit back and rake in the cash.

Ive reffed volleyball and parents are scary, I always hear things like "it wasn't in, it was halfway up the d*** wall" or "he never hits the net"

I’ve heard stories about soccer moms trying to fight the referees of their children’s little league games.
-
I've worked as a referee for soccer teams locally, from rec departments to middle/high school matches to even club games. I can confirm that parents at sporting events are awful way more than you'd expect. Most parents are good, but when you have so many parents at a single event, you'll usually end up with at least one bad apple at most games. I really feel for the poor kid who was the umpire, it wasn't his fault the parents were crazy, but the news has to point out that they went crazy because of his call.

‘Murica. But wow. Just... wow.

😲😐😕☹...what is this world coming to? Of course, this is great advice, and taking things this far is ridiculous.

This is why we need PvP servers in the game of life that aren't limited to military specialization. Cop a realm transfer, flag PvP, and get it in. You're right though.
