When you try to ignore the nerfs by advertising new content... yet that content is one of the most notoriously nerfed weapons in the Destiny Franchise everyone still remembers

Well, guys, we screwed up for 2 years now, maybe we should start using D1 weapons again and that will fix all the wrongdoing that we have been doing for the last couple years. I'm still waiting for them to wake up from la la land... Edit: Was just thinking about this so here goes. Bungie spent time nerfing certain weapons in D1 and some of the weapons like Rocket launchers multiple times. The one thing that was actually the problem with Truth was the tracking. Here it is in D2 and they reduced the tracking and a little while back nerfed I the tracking if I'm correct. Do you know how much of a headache Bungie could have saved themselves and the player base in D1 if they adjusted Truth as they have adjusted the Rocket launchers in D2 and enemies that can dodge Rockets?

5 RepliesOh goody another weapon from D1 coming to D2 as part of new content. Why does the irony not resonate with so many? It’s no wonder games are released half baked nowadays. These clowns will lap up old content being passed on as new and then debate if the gun will be any good. The only conversation you butt monkeys should have is one about lazy Development. That’s what is on full display with every iteration of Annual Pass content.

58 RepliesThe nerfs are 100% justified, thats why. There is an explanation for every single one of them and most people have figured that out by now. Sadly the casuals who dont want to actually play the game, and instead want to see a lightshow of instant gratification are a litte bit.... slow. May i reocmmend fortnite?

That thing better do 90 degree turns, stop for lunch, and kill everyone on the enemy team within a maps distance of its explosion.

While I agree with the precipice of your post, I'm fairly certain that the most notorious nerf was the one time they tried to kill the Gjallerhorn. But ya' point still stands.

Tracking in D2 is just ass. Let's be honest, it really is. Maybe they finally fixed tracking and Truth will be the first CONSISTENT tracking rocket launcher... LOL!!!!

Edited by BitrateBilly: 5/30/2019 1:55:37 AMthey could have easily fixed truth in d1 by getting rid of grenades and horse shoes, that way the tracking would still be insane and you could still get some insane truth plays, i remember on a vehicle map i shot at a guy on his sparrow and it literally chased the guy and actually caught up and blew him to hell

27 RepliesTo be fair. Truth was so good the nerf was needed. It literally was the best rocket in the game it was thoughtless. There were clips of people locking on then looking to the sky and shooting and itd hunt like a javelin missle.

3 RepliesI wouldn’t called Truth getting nerfed a “notorious nerf”. Nerfs like the auto rifle nerf of TDB, the exotic super nerf we are about to get with SoO, or the many, many, many nerfs of fusion rifles can be considered notorious. But the nerf of Truth hasn’t had the same kind of impact, even when compared to specific weapon nerfs, like Gjallarhorn, Black Hammer, Thorn, etc.
