Just like from D1 to D2, im 100% sure Bungie will delete everything again.
Just a heads up for you guys. All our work will be gone and new gods will rise to destroy over and over.
(I would love to see Bungie take on D3 differently than to D2 times. Let us keep one armor set, some cosmetics, emotes, a ghost and maybe our earned titles!?)
I'm still mad that Saladin didnt recognie us as Lords...

2 RepliesOn the bright side, at least D3 will have a simplified platform choice. iPhone or Android. ;)

Does it really matter if you're not buying D3. It will be the same as the last 2, shit story, unfinished game with an expensive dlc a year later to fix Some game issues. Wait 15 months and get most of it free on PSN as they desperately try to get the hardcore gamers to return. Is that what you want

I'm still mad that Saladin didnt recognie us as Lords...
-blam!-ing infuriates me every time I roll up to him and he acts like I didn’t save his old ass and end the Siva threat and become an Iron Lord... They should have had an Iron Lord title seal to chase too
-
I'd rather they remake everything again from the ground up with love and perfection than continue using the current model, because something still doesn't feel right about it.
-
2 RepliesAnd everything I earned in Zelda ocarina of time was gone when I stopped playing. And everything I earned in division 1 will be gone when I play div 2. And everything I earned in star ocean is gone. What does this even mean???? It's ok to be stupid, but do yourself a favor and don't talk
-
Edited by Link: 1/17/2019 7:00:38 AMWait you mean like all our armor and weapons?
-
Better yet, combine D1 with D2, no raid left behind, and all combined into D3. An expansion rather than reset...

I don't care about loot, but I really don't want to loose locations, as D2 lost Moon, Venus, Dreadnought etc.
-
The split from activision might prompt bungie to look at how the fan base reacted to the move from D1-2 so maybe they might clean their act up and allow a whole account transfer which should bring everything from D2 over into D3. But still with them being the only one working on destiny now, D3 could be years away.
-
D2 was a disaster. Just start fresh, and build on that game.
-
5 RepliesThat's even if there is a d3. It might just be Destiny Open World. Both d1 and d2 were built on an Activision playbook. If the rumors were true that Bungie popped champagne at a company meeting when the split was announced then they're more than likely looking to see how many concept ideas they'll want to change to theirs. My fear is that d2 will dry up after y2 for content, y3 will have one major update and a free February update (think d1 y2). They will divert all remaining resources towards the next Destiny platform release. Keep in mind, Activison brought in High Moon and Vicarious Visions studios to assist Bungie in developing content. That's all gone now. It's hard to get stuff done if there isnt enough bodies to do the work. Concept art is just that, art. Until they get someone doing the actual work it wont make it onto our TV's or monitors.

Yes they will, everything, all those guns that required days upon days to get, gone. Exactly why I will never play comp to get those two OP (soon to be nerfed) hand cannons. They should allow certain guns to carry over to make it worth losing days of my life to acquire.

Edited by Dire Wish: 1/16/2019 11:22:28 PMI really think they need to have every exotic ever in the history of Destiny, in the next game at launch.
-
Id actually be ok with that right now. I feel like my interest in this game is slightly dwindling. I think it would be cool to have a fresh start.

Edited by Lord_Shar: 1/16/2019 11:52:42 PM
Just like from D1 to D2, im 100% sure Bungie will delete everything again.
This is why I only play 1 character... it means less total progress lost upon reset. ;)

That’s a great thing. Take what they learned and build a new game. new weapons better skill tress
-
4 RepliesAnd if they self publish get ready for ridiculous console exclusives. They need development and marketing dollars. Plus alot of people dont realize that forsaken was worked on with High Moon studios. Now bungie doesnt have them OR Vicarious Visions to help with the PC support. Will be super interesting to see what happens with D3. If they stumble even a little bit, theyre -blam!-ed.
-
4 RepliesThat’s how games work... That being said, now that Activision is out of the picture, Bungie should patch D1 locations into the game and just keep expanding D2 for the entire life cycle of the game...
-
Mine definitely wont cause I ain't buying it!
-
1 Replyi’m fine with most things being reset. but triumphs and titles should carry on in some form.
-
2 RepliesEdited by GalaxySpider: 1/16/2019 8:16:54 AMWho cares. Happens with most sequels. No one cried about stuff being lost in Mass Effect 2 or 3 or any Dragon Age game. Borderlands and Pre-Sequel were not different either. Did I mention that you had to start from scratch in Diablo 3? Could go on for hours. But it would be a waste of time, just like complaining about it...
-
And you know this how? Prophet in our midst
-
Fine with me at this point. There is nothing I am really attached to in D2. D1 on the other hand......
-
3 RepliesSo what. 90% if games released every year make you start new. Who cares.
I'm still mad that Saladin didnt recognie us as Lords...
Why does everyone say this?? We're referred to as 'Saladin's young wolf' and 'wolfy' in-game.
