**POLL** How often do you play DESTINY 2?
I'm going to assume you all are part of the hardcore Destiny crowd or use to be, so let's see how much everyone plays.

1 ReplyI feel as though there needs to be a section between weekly and Destiny being “dead to me”. That’s where I would sit. I’m definitely not weekly but I think monthly or every 2 to 3 weeks.

I quit with the dawning. I didn't buy this game because I love wasting time and money for eververse. Honestly, pretty much every reason I bought this game turned out to be a slap in the face. And then I played 1 match of crucible for the Valentine's Day thing and saw, after all this time, teams of Uriel's and other annoying stuff, still, so I just turned it off. Not worth it man. I will play the dlc cuz I bought the pass like a fool, but after that I'm probably done.

I wouldn’t say it’s dead to me as I want to come back, but I just want more of a reason to do so... especially since I’ve got plenty other games to work through at the moment...

I only do the raids

Just play the raids. That's it. Occasionally crucible events (IB, crimson doubles)

I come back in increments. I'll play a few days but then skip it for a while before coming back.

If my clan needs help with anything otherwise I don’t play at all

I only really play the Leviathan or Eater of Worlds with clanmates. Might play some Iron Banner with clanmates. I do still want those ornaments and that Titan armor. The Titan armor is one of like, three or four sets I actually like.

I really enjoyed the game to begin with even into the end game I still had fun then it just got boring really fast. I couldn't even find the enthusiasm to complete the CoO DLC. Two primary guns is the biggest problem for me and until they change that I'm not coming back.

Only 3 milestones, pub events, nightfall, and clan xp After that I’m done

I generally log on to complete the milestones. Not much else. I still like the shooting in D2, but I have found other games more satisfying than grinding for that elusive class armor.

Game sucks. Even when I was playing I spent half the time afk in orbit because there is practically nothing to do.

I played regularly from the beginning, but then about 2 months ago I only played to get milestones and spread them out over a week. Last Tuesday I stopped playing completely and have switched back to Destiny 1. It's not the only game I play, but it's currently the only Destiny game I play. I still want Destiny 2 to be good enough for it to be my main game like Destiny 1 was.

How can i play, that which it is dead?

Whether or not I play depends on 3 things: 1.) Is there a sexy cosmetic item that I want? This can both be ornaments or something Tess offers for the week. I will grind the ornament or grind bright dust until I have enough to purchase it. 2.) It's drunk gaming night with the boys. Sometimes we play Destiny for kicks. I called this game's failure from the beginning. Still, I bought it for laughs and shenanigans. My friends are still reeling from their blind hype. Playing this game with them on weekends doesn't happen very often. But when it does, it's still absolutely hilarious. 3.) If neither of the above two reasons apply, I have to be in need of a break from OSRS, FFXIV, DA:Origins, Dark Cloud weapon grind, ESO:Morrowind, Fractured But Whole, and assorted other games from my back catalog. I will also always come back to check out special events and see if the rewards merit taking part in them. Otherwise, you won't see me on Destiny 2. This game is struggling in the worst kind of way with a rather dead and splintered community. They might be able to salvage the PvE crowd and regrow it, but the PvP is a lost cause. Honestly, they'd do themselves the ultimate favor by eliminating PvP completely at this point and freeing up time and effort to create PvE content that entices people to come back. PvP changes with the winds, whichever fad is most popular at the moment. But I'll hang around regardless and see whether or not my $60 investment miraculously rises from the ashes better than ever, or sinks to a final and embarrassing watery grave in Davy Jones' Locker.

2 RepliesDont play D2 anymore just because I started working a job and I also have school so I have no time for Destiny :( Back when Destiny was just starting up though I used to play for like 4 or 5 hours per day LOL [spoiler]I miss being 13 :([/spoiler]

Destiny 1 was everyday until D2 launched. Now I only login now and then.... most times I turn it off after 5 minutes. Nothing to chase or do.

Sometimes I get on to do my milestones other times I don't. It depends if I'm bored enough to back to this game or not.

So sad. I used to run the raids with 6 characters weekly. Now I only run my 334 hunter to get the weekly milestones, in search of a chest piece. I don’t know what I will do if I ever get one. Maybe Bungie’s stupid rng knows that and will always keep flooding me with gauntlets.

I play enough to get the new guns in the events. Then I put them away and continue using the same half dozen guns as everyone else. XD

Haven't played it in about 6 weeks and I can't see myself coming back until the next DLC.
