If people would quit coming to the forums and saying they were hacked everytime their crap internet boots them, then Bungie might actually do something. Most of the people that cry DDoS doesn't know what it is and how it works. Also, DDoS usually comes from multiple sources. So, unless someone has a network of computers, running on different ISPs (highly unlikely), then it's not a DDoS. DoS on the other hand is a different story. Also, DDoS is illegal. I don't foresee people taking the risk of jailtime to win in a game. At least, I can't think of anytime I've ever heard of it happening.

We can complain and feedback but as long as the game is still bringing in the $$$, bungie wont care. All they care about is pushing out dlc and expansion for more $. Only way we can make bungie wake up their selfish idea is to boycott their games.

If Bungie doesn't take serious action against cheaters they will end up like EA/DICE with their game Battlefield 1. As you already may know, there are no clan servers anymore there, while in earlier BF games clan servers were the best servers to play on because they were able to keep their server free from cheaters by using anti-cheat plugins. But EA never really cared about cheaters, they relied on PunkBuster wich was garbage and now they only rely on FairFight, which was also used by Ubisoft in their game Rainbow Six Siege, and guess what, that game become completely unplaybe in its first year because of the insane amount of cheaters! Now back to the point I want to make, Battlefield used to have a very large playerbase on the PC, but as you can see that's no longer the case. I was a huge BF fan myself, with 1000's of hours in BF1942 alone and also just as many in BF2 (my favorite). But I'm no longer buying Battlefield games, actualy I don't even remember the last time I bought a EA game because of their horrible support! and it looks like Bungie is going the same route.. If I knew all this before hand I would have never have bought this game, that's for sure! And if Bungie doesn't change it would be the last thing I ever bought from them, just like with EA's Battlefield! In the end all they do by ignoring problems and feedback is destroying themselves :/

p2p in all its glory... thats why we need dedicated servers. by the way, Ddos is a hack attack, where you not only get kick, but you have to reset your router to have internet back. In ps4 you can record a video and send it to psn, they will ban the accounts and IPs involved... they take seriously hacks, unlike Bungo.

I may be wrong but since Destiny is played on Xbox live / Microsoft servers, wouldn’t this be more of a Microsoft problem? I assume if there was an issue on PC the report would go to Blizzard not Bungie.

Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the DDoSers in matchmaking. So let's get to banning their hackers, one by one. Cheaty To'Spire; from what I can gather, he carries the P2Recovers from an Inferior Skill Rank inside matchmaking. He's well paid, but with the right team, we can break through his proxy servers, ban those accounts, and break their grip on Trials.

I can't believe there are people that pathetic to care enough to cheat in this PvP. The Crucible is a joke. It's a punch line. There's nothing of value to win for going flawless. Nobody cares.
