Everyone at the start of destiny everyone made their own character, but sometimes we regret things we made.
I think a lot of people would love to change their characters appearance atleast one more time. We play as guardians and those guardians represents us the players.
Please bump if you agree. It'll be very appreciated.
Edit: I noticed we're trending and it's awesome to see that a lot of you guys agree. Let's see if we can grab bungie's attention!

I've wanted this since year 1. Hell with some glimmer and motes of light that we alway get it seems totally possible. Signed.

5 RepliesA more useful change would be the addition of loadouts. I don't want to have to change every piece of gear for different situations.
-
Yes please! But it should cost 25000 glimmer so people can't do it at the drop of a hat. Introduce a doctor or something...
-
21 RepliesEh, I actually prefer it that we can't do this. My personal opinion, which might also be Bungie's reasoning, is that these characters we make are meant to sorta be this "thing" that we start at the beginning of the game and grow over time for the many years of Destiny we have played and years still yet to come until we've made a legacy of our Guardians. If people could change the appearance/race/sex of their Guardians on the fly, it wouldn't really feel special or like we've been connected to this Guardian since the beginning, sorta "we've made it this far, this is our story." Again, this is just my personal take on this. I am not a Bungie employee, I'm simply a community volunteer. Also, if it's any consolation, it's stated in Bungie's official Destiny Item and Character Deletion Policy that changing the appearance of your character is a service they do not provide.

4 RepliesNothing in the lore supports guardians changing their appearance. Denied.
-
5 RepliesEdited by D2istrash: 1/8/2017 11:49:17 PMI kind of like that we can't. You were resurrected with that face/race/sex, you are stuck with it. Don't like it anymore? Make a new character and start again. edit: Hair should be change-able, just like real life.

1 ReplyEdited by Shadowshot2000: 1/9/2017 8:06:16 PMThe only thing I don't like on my hunter is that I might have given her orange lipstick, not paying attention to the color enough. Edit: At least let us change things that can be changed in real life like hairstyle, hair color, lip color, etc.
-
2 RepliesThere should be an npc that allows us to change hair, tattoes and maybe eye color once a week or something but not the face type.
-
5 RepliesMake a new character, it only takes about 2 or 3 hours to get from 1 to 40, then switch all your gear. If you want to change the appareance of your guardian it means that after all this time you didn't get invested or created some kind of bond, so just delete him and create a new one.
-
Dumb idea, endlessly repeated for 2+ years. Make a new character and a new post scrub
-
The unfortunate thing is that they're never gonna let this happen. If you want to change your character that badly, then you're gonna have to delete a character and start over. THAT'S WHAT BUNGIE WANTS. They want you to play their game even more.
-
Yeah it'd be nice... at least to be able to change your hairstyle...
-
1 ReplyDon't worry this will happen in Destiny 2, as a PlayStation exclusive option
-
1 ReplyJust leave your helmet on lol
-
I understand everyone saying don't allow it so that you grow with your character, but we should be allowed to make changes that we hate since we were dumb day 1 noobs lol. Bungie should add a feature where we pay glimmer to make cosmetic changes, that way you have to "earn" them. Then, they open the door for microtransactions that allow for cool haircuts, etc. Sorry, I just gave Bungie a money making idea...
-
Not happening at this point.
-
I say nope. If you want to change something about your character, delete and start over. We all make bad decisions from time to time, suck it up and live with it.
-
-
I'd rather not be able to.
-
For the low low price of 50,000 silver and your immortal soul, bungie and Activision will allow this to happen.
-
Edited by ElonSkywalker: 1/9/2017 3:07:18 PMI'd rather they let me load my weapons with the D Pad rather than the menu! I've died so many times when just trying to load heavy ammo! LoL!!
-
Keep the helmet on.
-
"Mommy, can I get some new makeup for my Barbie?" Same difference.
-
Make it so, Bungie! Every time i delete a character a part of me dies... lol
