Hi, I have been playing Destiny since it's release (which was purchased for me as a physical disk copy).
I'm afraid my disk has become unreadable and as a result. I would like to purchase the digital copy from the PS Store. However, because I own all the current expansions and only the bundle is available, I can't purchase either the base game or the bundle.
After speaking with PS Support. Who I must add was happy to blame Bungie and further more adding, it was at Bungie's request, that only the Bundle was available. The person whom I was speaking to at PS Support, also said that to continue playing my game, I would have to go out and purchase another copy of the disk. But personally, I don't feel that was helpful, or even good customer support. I would like the digital copy and believe I should be allowed to purchase it.
Any idea's how I can do this, or even raise this as a enhancement/improvement.
If my knowledge is correct, Destiny is a 10 year project and my (players) characters will last me 10 years. If for some unknown reason my disk gets damaged again, or other customers wish to move to digital. The response is basically tough, or go buy another disk.
Thanks in advance

Correct, those are your options. You could probably try gamestop and get a pretty cheap copy of the base game to last you until Destiny 2, which will be totally separate, so you could then opt to get D2 digitally to avoid the possibility of this happening again. Also, the whole 10 year thing is hazy, as well as whether our characters will carry over, or if we'll be making new ones.
