Oh look, Bungie is forcing us into crappy ass Crucible for the Year 2 Moments of Triumph reward.
Stop forcing us into Crucible. It has sucked since the 2.0 patch. I didn't do the quest, because I don't hate myself enough to play the unbalanced, broken mess you call PvP. Crucible has turned from a fun, fast paced experience, into a slow, boring campfest. All thanks to the idiotic nerfs and the crybabies that asked for them.
EDIT: My main issue is that I have bi-polar disorder. Bullshit deaths and lag in Crucible make me lose my temper. I'd rather not have to play something the drives me nuts, just so I can complete MoT. I've done everything else on the list. I have 3,500+ hours played, I'm not asking for a handout. PvP was fun once, but now it's just aggravating.
EDIT[b]: After much rage over the last two nights, I have completed most of the quest lol. All I have left to do is the Elimination games(I can't wait for that headglitching sniper campfest), and the last part. It hasn't been too bad, except for the sbmm matchmaking. It is absolute AIDS. Most of the time I end up on a team full of people playing with their feet. The hit detection and handcannon accuracy are awful too.[/b]

It was in Y1 MoT too so it's not any surprise. Do it or don't do it, but don't complain about being "forced" to do something you don't want to do when you want the reward for it.

The only thing for crucible you need is for the final part of the crucible quest line I did the whole thing in about a day total mind you I've never been a fan of crucible

You did yr 1 MoT which had 100 crucible wins. So it just seems like you do and can play crucible if you want to but you don't feel like finishing that quest line...

It's definitely a rough one. It's called "The Mountaintop" for a reason. Just do dailies, you'll get there eventually. And Iron Banner helps for everything else.

Aside from all of the comments bitching about your bitching, I do think Bungie should have left PvP out of it. Destiny is too PvP oriented now. We were sold a co-op action RPG in 2014, but now, it's less about doing raids and strikes than it is about Trials and Iron Banner. 2016 Destiny is just plain horrible, they need to keep PvP out of our PvE. Let the PvPers whinging affect them and only them. Leave the PvEers out of it.

3 RepliesSo I note that numerous guardians are complaining about the crucible quest line possibly being included in the year 2 MOT. I am at best average at pvp. I have completed this quest line on my hunter and am "getting around" to completing it on my titan and warlock. With the changes to the quest line from 17/11/2015 this quest became much easier to complete. As a reminder the steps are as follows. Accept the quest "Crucible Forged" from Lord Shaxx Changes to the "Crucible Forged" quest chain that unlocks Shaxx's weekly bounties: Crucible Forged Quest 1 Staking a Claim - Defeat opposing Guardians in a Control match while your team holds at least two Control zones (8 kills). Crucible Forged Quest 2 Players must deploy 3 Relic Probes in the Salvage playlist instead of finishing captures Crucible Forged Quest 3 Unlocked on completion of Quest 1 Step 1: Player must complete 2 matches in the Daily playlist Step 2: Player must complete 2 matches in the Weekly Featured playlist Step 3: Player must earn 9 points. Wins in the Daily or Weekly Featured playlist are worth 3, completions are worth 1. Crucible Forged Quest 4 Unlocked on completion of Quest 1 & 2 Player must earn 4 points. Wins in Control are worth 3, completions are worth 1. Same as above, but in Rift Same as above, but in Clash Same as above, but in Rumble Same as above, but in Skirmish Same as above, but in Salvage Crucible Forged Quest 5 Unlocked on completion of Quest 1 & 2 Player must earn 9 points. Wins in Elimination are worth 3, completions are worth 1. Crucible Forged Quest 6 Unlocked on completion of Quest 1 & 2 The player must complete 8 matches with at least 1,200 Score. No wins required. Crucible Forged Quest 7 Unlocked on completion of Quest 1 & 2 Steps no longer require wins Step 1: The player must complete 4 matches with at least six Auto-Rifle kills Step 2: The player must complete 4 matches with at least six Pulse Rifle kills Step 3: The player must complete 4 matches with at least six Scout Rifle kills Step 4: The player must complete 4 matches with at least six Hand Cannon kills Crucible Forged Quest 8 Still requires completion of all other Crucible Forged Quests to unlock Players must earn 20 points. Wins in any playlist are worth 3, match completions are worth 1. No regression on loss Still unlocks Weekly Crucible Bounties account-wide on completion, which can drop 300+ Light gear and Exotics

Eh, I'm more upset that I have to get the remaining fragments from challenge mode. Haven't done a raid since October and I didn't plan on getting those fragments, but I guess I'll have to :/

I still dont get how people say crucible is a campfest what mode are you all playing? If its slow pick a new game mode they have like 7 rift is fast, so is clash, and mayhem, capture and zone control are slow because they are supposed to be. I dont like rumble so thats all preferences and all the inferno modes are trash to me.
