Why 3 shots for golden gun?

A sunbreaker can throw at least 5 hammers, but could be up to 7. A stormcaller lasts forever and can shred 7-10 opponents easily (oh, and is nearly impossible to run away from unless you're already on the other side of the map). And a golden gun gets 3 bullets. Why? Why shouldn't the golden gun last the entire duration of the super, or alternatively, not have a time limit if limited to 3 shots?

  • Stormcaller a have a TTK and the range isn't near ggs. Hammers have a throw time, gg is an instant kill from basically any range besides the massive maps

  • GG doesn't needs a nerf or buff in PvP I use it everyday in PvP.

  • Because of time to kill. Stormtrance you have to chase them and unless you have ionic blink it takes time to get them. Golden Gun almost guarantees three kills. Also Golden Gun is the most balanced super and one of the most fun supers.

  • Why does golden gun have infinite range? Why can't storm caller snipe from across the map with ridiculous hit reg, why do my hammers not hit them instantly and have a travel time? Oh wait, I forgot there's something called balance

    • Hammers have travel time, making them more difficult to use and therefore necessary for them to have more uses available. You claim stormcallers are nearly impossible to run away from. I've never seen anyone escape from a golden gun any more than I see people get away from a stormcaller, so I don't get the point you're trying to prove there. Golden gun doesn't need any changes, it's just fine where it's at.

      By your argument why should FOH only be a single use small area damage? Why shouldn't it be like Shadow shot and you can use it 3 times in a row? GG is the only super that is a normal aim system one shot kill. Hos is not easy to aim ( not that its hard but its not a piece of cake), its fairly easy to avoid (jump) and with any amount of lag will only damage and not kill the enemy.

    • not to sound rude man but its easy to say this or that super is op if u dont play it but when u do start playing those "op" supers u start to see the problems associated with them and how very unbalanced some supers are to other supers ie (sunbreaker to golden gun or bladedancer to sunbreaker) and not only that but u get to see the weaknesses of said supers and know how to counter them when u see them. again not trying to be rude or anything just trying to give some advice I've learned thru the years.

      cause it can shoot down supers from a good distance, go into mayhem and use sunbreaker and more then likely ur going to get golden gun from across the map and theirs nothing u can really do cause the hammers arent like golden gun they have a travel time and its easy to dodge, golden not so much
