Which exotic was the biggest let down.
For me it was probably ats/8 tarentella.
Also the original the first curse.
Also sleeper simulant.
[Edit] I like the sleeper, and think it's super fun, but when I was led to believe that it would be the year two gally I was a little disappointed. Still good and fun though.

The Stag. Or maybe the looks of obsidian mind. Like, really? They took the tubes off of nerigal savant III and made it all black. Perk is good, fashion is meh. [spoiler]Black or white shaders look good with it, but not a lot of colored ones do.[/spoiler]

Boolean Gemini. Like the idea, but the bonus it grants is very minimal and is basically unnoticeable. Even with max stacked agility boost it's still beaten by mida which does everything better. It could have been so much more but they didn't even have the guts to combine both perks into one to make is semi-useful.

Ace of spades.... The Tlaloc is so good and plays to the warlocks strengths... Ace of spades really doesn't play off the hunters skill set. I'd like to have seen some skill boosting perk on it.

For me personally NLB. As a pve player I thought it was gonna be awesome. I used to run icebreaker like a primary, so the idea of having a primary sniper sounded great give how often primary ammo drops. Next was Necrochasm for obvious reasons. Works well now though but is stuck in Y1.

There really isn't one in year two I liked...... All of them had little thought put into them..... There's better exotics in YouTube comments then there were in taken king. Bungie would have been better off using community made exotics as there's more thought put into most of them somehow......

The Tarantella and the No Land Beyond. Tarantella: Such a great looking exotic, but I'll likely never make use of its perk. I'm almost NEVER a Bladedancer, and when I am it isn't ever for that long, anymore. No Land Beyond: A primary sniper, are you kidding me? It sounds like something you couldn't really do wrong, but having basically a grenade launcher's sight with sniper zoom and terrible ROF, it's not a good weapon. Yes, I am aware that you can "speed up" the fire rate, but that's too much work for it to be effective.

4 RepliesHonestly? Thunderlord. It was one of the first exotics i got in year 1, and i was super excited because it was rare, but it just feels like a legendary mg. If I'm using an exotic heavy id rather use truth or Gjally.
