7 RepliesI personally hate that they make items obsolete. If I grinded hard for a weapon - don't make it obsolete with the new version. If they make destiny 2 and make all of the current weapons null again ... I'm done.

8 RepliesWhat got you to the point of making pointless forum topics moaning about the game? Greed? Lies? Incompetence?... Give it a rest drama queen...

- Lack of Communication about their release schedule and Destiny's future. - Lack of Content. Content being taken out and sold as DLC included. - Microtransactions. You pay $140 for the game, but if you want this little item you still need to pay up.

6 RepliesAll the people that spent $20 for the 3 dances that were part of ttk. It made Luke Smith into a prophet and gave them zero incentive to deliver any meaningful dlc that would appease the pve side of Destiny because they are able to generate revenue thru silver. Question... How much new content has been added full time since the introduction of silver?

2 RepliesEdited by GalaxySpider: 2/2/2016 1:56:02 PMA community filled with too many rumors and speculations, most of them not confirmed or statet as "facts" and people who still don't know what Deej's or Luke's (one of the Bungie guys who is simply honest) job is or who are the people behind all major decisions are...but heh, let's hate them, lol. If I read things like "My ideas for making Destiny better: drop Activision" then sorry, all I see is someone with not even the slightest idea how game development or even contracts work. Yeah, let's drop the publisher!!! Awesome idea... I have my own thoughts about Destiny and right now I'm not pleased with everything but I don't see anything different what could go wrong with it when I look at any other AAA franchise. Just look at Halo 5 for example. Huge flop in my eyes, especially from a competitive and gameplay design (dropped everything what Halo stands for) and what actual pro players say about, even though MS is behind the game and former staff from Bungie who actually made it....no matter how much feedback the fans pumped into the forums after Halo 4s/Reach's fail, from a community perspective. So what? Time will come and tell what Destiny (2) will bring us. The question is not what Destiny currently brought to us but more what Bungie learned from it. What it means to handle a game with its complicated economics and the community born from it and how hard it is to balance both things. That's an incredible difficult task for everyone and Bungie was absolutely not prepared for it or at least not for an impact that big. Right now the game is suffering from both: a toxic community and veeeeery weird decisions with unclear visions from Bungie.

Nerfs...
-
They chopped up the game a year before release, the higher ups said they wanted a story that was, "less linear."
-
Cheating players and whiny kids shouting nerf this nerf that. Doesn't matter now though. The damage is done and quite catastrophic. The removal of certain individuals in bungie greatly affected how this game failed. They tried to cover it up and still failed in doing so. It's like patching a broken pipe with a bandaid.

I gotta say three of coins. Now here's why. Before TTK, we had to do raids, nightfalls and etc. To get that one exotic we didn't have. Now alot of people bitched about the grind being too much. Before destiny came out. I played borderlands 24/7. However, if any of you have played the "pre-sequel" you know if the grinder(look it up if you don't know). That litteraly took away the shoot and loot aspect of borderlands, and you could just get the best stuff for basically nothing. That's what was one thing that killed the pre-sequel. I won't go onto the rest. However, the point that you should see from that is that the player of games like destiny, borderlands, diablo, and etc. Players will go through the grind to get that one item they don't have, and that's what will make the player stick around. So as soon as that grind is loosened, becoming almost no grind at all. Is when you'll lose your players of your game.
Thanks for reading, scrub.
