I've been playing it a lot lately and love it. I'm stuck on the Fume Knight right now but I'll figure it out. How are you guys doing in it?
Edit: A lot of people have suggestions and I'm going to tell you guys what I usually do.
I run the Greatsword which is an ultra greatsword and I have enough time. That may change from recommendations. recommendations. I put great magic weapon on it and hit for around 550 and only get one hit. I also typically use a shield just for lucky moments when it saves me but that may also change. I run light armor so I can light roll.
I stay next to him constantly and roll but on stage 2 when he does his explosive aoe it gets me every time so I really need tips on that.
My rings can change but I run ring of restoration, ring of binding unless I go human then it's replaced by ring of protection, Dragon crest for the great magic weapon, and cloranthy ring which must stay. Binding also must stay unless I'm human.
Give me your tips and recommendations.

3 Replies;-; I'm making my way there, stuck on a dark spirit at the bottom of a ladder. I thought the sunken king dragon was a bitch to fight

1 ReplyIdky but when I did it the first time it was like easiest boss ever, and I was confused why people complained. Then I tried it with a tank build the next time and I kind of understood For some reason when I had Mage armor I could out roll every attack (even when one would insta kill) but when I am tank at 60% carry weight I couldn't dodge one. Just spam hexes and roll backwards easy win

7 Replies1. Two hand greatsword 2. ring that makes you invisible while rolling 3. Two semi-intelligent summons 4. Profit

1 ReplyEdited by XSP00KSOME: 11/21/2015 3:39:26 AMJust read his attacks, dodge, and strike wherever there's an opening. Good luck.

4 RepliesFume knight is confirmed to be hardest boss in-game. His only weakness is overwhelming physical damage, so your Greatsword is find. It's just about the long fight, dodge and be patient, he is a toughy.

1 ReplyEdited by J4keFrmSt8Farm: 11/21/2015 12:17:08 AMWalk in wearing Velstatd's helmet to instantly put him into his second phase. I ran black knight ultra greatsword and I never took more than one swing whenever I got the chance. If I had to heal, I would do it when I would normally attack. I also recommend that you don't summon anyone, they'll just make him be able to tank more damage.

2 RepliesHe's weak to Dark damage, and your greatsword is fine as long as you don't get greedy.
-
1 ReplyAs for your ring set up, try rings of dark and fire protection. A dark infused rebel's greatsheild should take care of phase 2.

5 RepliesOh, GOD the Fume Knight. Here are my tips. 1) Stay FAR away from him to goad him into his more telegraphed attacks. 2) Unless you're running a spell or miracle build, avoid infused weapons. 3) Based on his armor set, he is weakest to thrust and strike damages, so try for those 4) DO NOT summon the NPCs. They will die quickly, and you will be facing a super-buffed Raime.

1 ReplyDodge roll all your enemies to death, preferably with the red iron winblade, as that thing shreds in PvE
-blam!- Fume Knight...
6 RepliesLike most bosses, weakness phase 1 left leg! Hug his left leg (UGS side) and wait for his 4 swing combo. He doesn't always swing 4 times but I find it safer to wait since Raime delays his swings sometimes. Phase 2 should be easier, just stay close to him and watch your stamina. I used Great Sword (2h) on him on ng and ng+s.

2 RepliesEdited by AlexanderSolomon: 11/20/2015 7:29:34 PMUse a fast weapon. I recommend watcher greatsword, magic infused lance or longsword, or Ice Rapier. Stick to his left. If you summon anyone make sure it's a caster. A Melee summon is a liability. Unless you also happen to be casting.

6 RepliesEdited by Luck: 11/20/2015 6:15:19 PMHow to transform Fume Knight into a pile of dust and tears: 1. Get the Grand Lance (It's very easy to get if you're playing Scholar of the Sin). 2. Upgrade it to +7 or greater. 3. Infuse it with Magic. 4. Put on Old Leo Ring. 5. Make sure your AGL is 108 or higher aka 23+ ADP. Tips for the fight: Gower's Ring makes this a walk in the park. Ditch the shield, rolling through his attacks is much more efficient and you're going to want to 2-hand. After you've dodged one of his attack strings you will always have enough time to get in 2 hits or 1 heal. Do NOT summon this boss is actually easier solo. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

2 RepliesSummons... Just summon everyone.

5 RepliesYou'll get Fumey eventually, he has the highest player failure rating of any boss at around 90+%. Treat him like the Pursuer or Smelter, he's just got a lot of moves that are best dealt with by dodging. Once you know what he can do, he's just a harmless punching bag for you to take down.

Because you opened this. you will get kissed on Friday by the person you love or like. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. Do not break this chain. You have 2 minutes this is not a fake...apparently. Forward this to 15 people in the next 15 minutes and you WILL have the best day of your life tomorrow. You're number one crush will either KISS, ask you out, or call you. If you break this chain, the little girl named Kaitlyn who died 2 years ago on a car crash will be in your room TONIGHT! Good luck <<3, and your time starts, right know No Cheatin

1 ReplyFume Knight is the hardest boss. Just be super defensive and deliberate and only attack on clear openings.
