No the 55% increased damage resistance. Shield and damage resistance are two different things.
-
...which requires Scorched Earth and Fire Keeper... 2 perks.

I'm not talking about the over shield you get when you stand in a sunspot. What I'm talking about is the Damage Resistance that nearly every super has aside from Defender and Gunslinger. This is best scene on blade dancers. While they have no perk that gives them "extra armor" or the sorts, they still take longer to kill as opposed to a non-blade dancing hunter. Why? Well because bladedancer has Damage Resistance. On Sunsinger Warlocks, without Radiant skin, we have a small amount of Damage Resistance and we increase it by donning Radiant skin. Now HOS Titans have A 55% Damage Resistance the highest in the game. This is what people talk about. Not the over shield, not any perks that add to armor the natural Damage resistance.

So as I was saying. The standard over shield. The one that a single shotgun shot will shoot thru and kill. Most commonly seen used on sunsingers.
-
But where are you getting over shield from? I understand your talking about the one Titans get when they stand Ina. Sunspot that is not the one neither I nor the OP is talking about. Also, Sunsingers get their over shield through a Melee perk. we then make the shield stronger by adding radiant skin on so that less damage is taken. What is your argument sir? Because the op is talking about the DR not the armor granted by standing in a sun spot.
-
Yeah. The standard super over shield that everyone gets. Theirs isn't as high as others already. It takes 1 shotgun shot. 1 sniper headshot. It's like a sunsinger. Good night with that hitting. It isn't hard to kill them. All these things people bitch about are above that. And not possible with how you have to structure perks to activate them. And on top of it, a defender can cancel them. As can a night stalker.

As a sunsinger , yeah we become a walking tank, but we are very much supseptivle to team fire with no way of regenerating our healths nor do we have weapons of instant mass destruction from mid-close range. If you were to put a sunsinger against a Titian who would win? A fusion grenade or a hammer? Also, a den fender can cancel them out sure , but all the counters for other supers aren't invested in one or two classes. They should be for all like evet other super. A gunslinger can easily be gundowned A defender we can easily be outmenuvered and shotgun or simply sticked A bladedancer can easily be shot gunned to hell A sunsinger can be team fired to hell and shot gunned to hell beyond A novabomb we can be blinked out of the way or stopped be ogre the bomb even fires with team fire A striker can also be shotgun out of oblivion if needs be All the counters are something that all classes can do, but because of the the abilities that HOS Titan has, the counters has to be: be a defender or nights talker, which should never be the counter for any super.

Literally, each one of them...... Just because you haven't learned to focus fire on one when you hear a big ass clank like you would a sunsinger is nobodies problem. And sunsingers have a constant stream of sticky grenades. A one hit kill melee. No medium to close range? Please. They're the kings of it. A gunslinger can be gunned down? So can a breaker. Except a breaker doesn't have an instant-travel one hit kill. All you need to do to avoid a hammer, is strafe.... Ooooooo. Difficult skill to learn. A defender can be out maneuvered or stuck? So can a breaker. Turn around and move behind cover. Or walk in the opposite direction. They only move as quickly as you do... Distance, another tough one to master. And sticky grenades stick to them too... And leave them on a thread of health. A blade dancer can be shotgunned? So can a breaker. So can a storm caller for that matter. A nova bomb can be blinked away from? Yeah, I don't even know how to explain this one. It's called jumping. Everyone can do it and avoid a hammer. A striker can be shot gunned? I mean, no... They really can't. But ok. As mentioned before, this also applies to a breaker anyway. I mean... Did you set out to list all the ways every super in the game can be countered? Because you succeeded if you did. Next time leave off the labels before them...

Lol, you're delusional.

As can a night stalker.
But it's not an over shield, it works very very different than an over shield. An over shield is something that not everyone has and is less than that of our own health+armor and can be taken down very quickly. But Damage resistance is a whoooole other thing. It's the reason why if I were to turn on radiance and you were to hit me with thorn, the DOT will show 3 instead of 7. The only thing capable of vaulting over this DMG resistance are three things: Group fire Shotguns Rockets/MG But here's why these don't really work as a counter against a HOS Titan. For starters group fire mean nothing once the Titans kills one of your teammates. Once he does, with the perks which he will have, he'll be a tank ready to kill you you next, and your now with less firepower than before. With a bladedancer you didn't quite have this problem because even when they regenerated their health with hungering blade: A shotgun to the face will put everything back in order. And that leases me to the next point: Shotguns. They work well with a blade dancer because they have to come to you. It's the only way they can normally attack. This weakness allows them to get much be susceptible to midrange firepower and close range shogunning. But HOS Titans don't have to worry about that. They can easily kill from midrange and not to worry about dying since their health will regen with a Kill anyways. Also moving towards a HOS Totan is not easily since not only will he not be if lnclined to be up close to you, but also the fact that if you were to be up close to him a hammer will still shut you down and fill him up. Shotgun, or not. Especially when he has the DMG resistance of 55%. The final counter isn't really a counter since the fact that it's not something we have at out disposable all the time. It depend on so many factors that of there were two HOS at both heavies what do you expect me to do? Now not only do they have the power of Heapethus to stop us, they have the power of rockets after it's over to send us to hades.
