To all those with 9-11 jokes
To those making 9-11 jokes, thank you.
Both my parents were killed in this act of terrorism. And your jokes help it pass and help me forget, especially on days like today. Most didn't lose loved ones and act like they understand and that we never get over anything. A majority of us have. And we are tired of it. I hate the day and how we all "never forget" it's bullshit. No one wants to remember the day their parents were killed. And the jokes make it better. To those that are not over it well you have a problem and should probably see a therapist. And people say it "never heals" for -blam!-s sake it heals and then all you assholes decide to "never forget" and bring it back up again in a non-humorous form. Most of you didn't lose family members or loved ones in 9-11. Yet you still act like you know what it's like. Wounds heal. Except for when they're re-opened. So thank you to all those who make jokes on this day. It livens me up and makes me happier, unlike you all who try and mourn and mourn and defend us like we've been hurt for 14 years. So please keep making jokes and stop acting like you know what it's like.
P.s my doods if you have any jokes it would brighten up the remainder of my evening if you would share :)
Edit: some of you are asking what's wrong with me, I'm curious why. I'm providing a different perspective my brother and I have been holding in for awhile. It's also pretty silly how the ones who are getting offended were the ones who sympathized yet don't sympathize now that they realize they're making things worse. All I'm doing is providing a new perspective so maybe one day in the future, this day will be discontinued. A lot are also saying its "bullshit" because I "like" 9-11 jokes. I don't like them nor do I dislike them. I'm just saying 9-11 jokes because many of you seem pretty intrigued by the day and are angry about my post, so I'm trying to keep it in theme for you, just a little sympathy for some of you with narrow minds.

3 RepliesI am far from a victim from 9-11 but, and I cannot imagine how that may have effected some. I was in 5th grade when I found out. Nevertheless 9-11 isn't a joke. Noir sound it be treated as one. Saw what you will about Americans or whatever, but 9-11 was a tragedy and a real heartbreaking day. Please respect the dead.

1 Reply"Never forget" is not meant as sympathy toward the ones whom lost, it's meant for future generations to not let it happen again. Sorta like the Holocaust. Good for you for moving on. Some people mourn death at funerals, while others celebrate life.
