Got Thorn From A Nightfall
I finally got my 1st THORN from a nightfall. I'm so hyped, Now I can play TRIALS!
Edit: I just went FLAWLESS WITH MY THORN!
Edit2: This got more comments then I expected. Let's keep it going, tell me how you got your THORN.
Edit3: Wow I just finally Destroyed Xylar. He was soooo hard.

I was astounded but knew that i would not last long enough... I was going to disconnect... When suddenly SmoggyPluto reached through my screen and grabbed the disconnect bar... I couldn't believe what was happening. He grabbed the bar as if it was a stick, pulled it off my screen and loaded it into his Gjallarhorn, He then jumped into the sky, a quartic jump, 5 JUMPS, he got so high he absorbed the sun and then in one swoop shot the disconnect bar into Skolas tearing him apart into nothing. The wolfpack rounds then proceed to swarm and destroy the mines we were supposed to [i]dismantle[/i] He stayed with us all the way to the treasure room but did not speak. Finally he urinated on the large chest and turned to us and said [b]"become legend gaurdian."[/b] [i]SmoggyPluto has left your fireteam[/i]. speechless me and my fireteam all opened the pee-stained chest... We all received 3 Gjallarhorns... One void, one arc, and one solar, all already fully maxed[/quote][/quote]

Smoggypluto gave me mine. I dumped five Vanguard bounties all at once and got an exotic. I didn't know which one to choose. That's when I got a message from Smoggy. It said "Turn Around." When I did, I saw him standing directly behind me. He reached up and his ghost popped out. A black ghost with gold designs swirling all over it. The ghost flew to my hunters side and deposited the Thorn on my hip. Smoggy then said "Get good scrub." Before I could say anything back, he vanished. I took Toland's Legacy. True story.

First time I went to the tower there was a thorn waiting for me at the postmaster.
