I would love to see what happens if they took shotguns out of the crucible
I know exactly what would happen the players that are actually good would stand out like no other. Why? Because they are the ones who have accuracy and can use a sniper opposed to the other 95% of players that wouldn't know what to do if shotguns were removed... Because they are all scrub

1 ReplyIt's the MAPS........if we could have some large fking maps like the what, two?, that we have, it would be great. I've sat in the back of certain matches to literally watch the kill feed. I have witnessed an honest to gd scenario where the COMPLETE match feed was shotguns, melee, grenades, supers. I say this cause shotties aren't going to go away. We need maps that aren't so damn claustrophobic. It's not like large maps kill momentum when you can hop onto a sparrow and get somewhere in two seconds. But yes.......I HATE SHOTGUNS and really miss actual gunplay.

This is really more of a map issue - all the maps are too small and full of choke points that force CQC - especially control where the zones are mostly in a tight spots.

Let's just make everything do 0 damage. Aggressively stare at eachother as we contest every zone and wait for the match to end.

They will probably say the melee is to op. Just suck it up and play the game or move on. I get killed by thorn,tlw,felwinters etc..... STOP CRYING PEOPLE!!!!

But yet I see most people with snipers that sit at the back of the map picking people off. And yes shottys do need a nerf If you use snipers and don't camp I have respect for you. Fusion rifles need to make a come back

I'm pretty sure fusion rifles would make a comeback then somce there wouldn't be any shotguns and not many people like to take the time to learn how to snipe.

Love when people argue everyone makes up false statistics with no data. Not even just OP but comments as well. I agree, I enjoy the sniping mechanics in the game but I don't get to really use them much besides trials. The maps are set up against them because of shotgunning, it's nice in the trials because people don't charge in like idiots for one kill. also those saying "sitting In the back of the map sniping" I'm not sure you understand how sniping works. The very definition of snipe is: shoot at someone from a hiding place, especially accurately and at long range. ACCURATELY being the key word. Something shotgunning doesn't require. You can also easily run and gun with a sniper but it's not as effective. That being said I'm not bashing anyone's playstyle, do you. Just don't be ignorant.

Wouldn't change anything. Shotgunners would just switch to fast charge fusion rifles like Plan C
