Tea Bagging in ToO and Crucible. Thoughts?
When is it OK and when is it not? For me I honestly only ever tea bag my friends when an enemy kills them it's funny to do it to someone you know and can laugh with about it.
On the other hand I think it can be one of the most childish and disrespectful things someone can do.
Example: you are playing a Too match and you are up against an equally skilled team and you guys have an epic match that goes back and forth. Score ends up being 4-4 and your team loses the last round after a series of kills and clutch revives. After the epic encounter your heart is pumping and you are ready to tip your cap to the other team and thank them for an epic match just to look up and see them start tea bagging your dead ghost. It's extremely disrespectful.
Why not start dancing in celebration that you just had an epic hard fought win? What happened to the days of good sportsman ship? It won't keep me from playing and I understand it will never stop because let's face it, half of you are children (figuratively and literally) and it's what children find entertaining for some reason.
What are your guy's thoughts on the topic?
And before anyone says anything about my profile picture I changed it since it was relevant to the topic lol.

It's ok when the kid you kill is exploiting a shotgun and can't kill you even with the unholy range they have.

I teabag whenever the odds are stacked enormously against me. Like when a hunter goes Golden Gun and tries 2 kill me, but I kill them first. XD

I don't really get it why people get upset about this. It also looks really weird when someone is trying to teabag a ghost. I don't care if they do it. I do find it rude when i dance after a match and they shotgun me in the face. I mean, come'on. Thats uncalled for.

It's rude. But it's motivation to target that one person and show them who's boss. A guy killed me twice and t-bagged me both times. Killed him 3 time after that and t-bagged him each time. Heheh... Nub

Tea bagging a thousand angels!

I got tired of this one person tea bagging in my iron banner game. So in retaliation, I placed my bubble near B where there entire team was and began teabag as they watched from there bubble. We had just came back from a 3000 point deficit and ended up beating them by 5000. So while I was teabaging 2 hunters came to my bubble I killed them, then the Titan who was teabaging came over and I killed him too.

If I'm 4-0 down with my team and come back 5-4, which I've done plenty of times or it's 3v1 and I wipe all 3 out, then expect a T-bag...

Tea bagging in regular crucible is ok..but in trials is too risky as your basically just asking a warlock to self rez

I sometimes do it, but as I like to call it messing with their mind, people tends to get angry and don't think clearly, and it works to my advantage, other than that if I see they kept their cool I stop doing it and wave at their ghost.

As long as people get upset when getting t-bagged, people will continue to do it. Yes it's childish, but it gets a rise out of people. Hate messages are sent, anger fueled matches ensue and eventually someone wins the match and someone looses. I think it's stupid, but maybe try not letting it piss you off so much? I will not ever do it to anyone, so maybe that's a start. Revive and destroy them then walk away the better man without doing it in return. Maybe? I don't know :-)

Not sure.. But when someone does it to me.. I do it back every time I kill them for the rest of the match.

2 RepliesTeabagging is always ok. There is no "wrong way " to teabag. Even if some enemy who had no part in killing u tea bags he's exercising his right to fill Ur mouth with nuts. Part of online shooters . Happy fragging.

Really I don't approve of T-bagging, but do it when the enemy player isn't a warlock that had self revive.

It personally doesn't bother me at all, so do it whenever. I never teabag. Nothing is better than killing an opponent while they're in the midst of tea bagging.

I tea bag when I'm on my warlock because of the new chest piece I got purifier robes.. so when they knock me out they all tea bag me next min self res and they cannot see and I pump them, also so I don't have to go looking for them there all there ready for my firebolt grenades 2 of them bad boys and there down

Usually when it happens to me I just go "WHY?! WHAT DID I DO TO YOU HAVE I EVEN KILLED YOU AT ALL?!?" Unless I happen to be using thorn. Then I'll be like "yeah, I getchu" [spoiler]and I only teabag if I was teabag'd first[/spoiler]
