How to fix Xurning vs Earning
So, I've seen a crap-ton of people complaining that Xur shouldn't have sold RD. I was thinking about it, and I think I figured out a solution. We should be limited to only one Weekly per account, so that you could only earn 9 coins per week. Thoughts?

Or Or. Or.. People can just stop -blam!-ing bitching about all of this. Those who think they "earned" something through RNG need to be knocked out. If you get something from RNG it is in no way earned.

There is nothing to fix. People who think they "earn" any of the random drop exotics are delusional, butthurt little kids who want to feel special...end of story. I can see an argument for earning raid specific gear (armor, vex, etc)...specific drops from specific places that require completion of a certain event. You don't earn a RD if you just happened to get it from the raid when you could get the same thing from a legendary engram off a lvl 2 dreg. Pure...luck.

I think Xur simply isn't really intended for the player (like me) who has three characters and plays all the time. He provides an opportunity for folks who don't have as much time to play to catch up a little bit on gear & weapons. Those of us who raid & do Nightfall each week with three different characters are more likely to get exotic drops. I've bought plenty from Xur and don't feel the least bit guilty about it, but most of my exotics have come via drops. One of my friends only plays with one character, so the best he can do is get 9 coins each week. Therefore, it takes 2-3 weeks of doing weekly strikes to have enough coins to pick up an item, assuming it's an item he wants in the first place.

I think they should just make it so YOU can only do one a week as that's your preference apparently???? Or did you come up with this idea because you only have one character high enough to do it anyway? A bit narrow minded don't you think? The same people that complain about Xurning have most likely shopped at Xur's at least once so they really can't say anything

or make exotics sold by him 30-50 coins for the price. so people will be like "is this exotic really worth getting?" and really have to manage their savings of strange coins and wont just buy it right off the bat tldr: make the price of exotics go up so people will decide what to and what not to buy.

I think most of the time people don't even buy the weapons he sells. Every once in a while, maybe once a month he will sell a weapon worth buying if you don't already have it. I wouldn't mind if he didn't sell any weapons at all! I do like the armor he sells though, exotic armor is harder to get through RNG than exotic guns because it seems like you can ONLY get pieces through nightfall whereas raids will drop weapons and no armor. I would be cool with him selling legendary weapon engrams instead of straight exotic guns so that its more up to RNG to decide what weapon you will get, legendary, exotic, or shards. That would keep people from constantly bitching on the forums but also leave us with a balanced way to get exotics through RNG, assuming they don't nerf the way legendary engrams decrypt. What do you guys think?
