Why is everyone sensitive in forums?
This is sad... I came on the forums asking for a simple response to my question.[quote] "Why are the higher levels not as good in Crucible?"[/quote] Some of you actually gave some legit responses, but others are literally studying my previous games KD's. This is ridiculous.
I haven't been doing too hot the previous few days, I was sick with the flu.
I'm sorry for offending the higher levels, thanks to the people who actually answered the question I asked, I now know that the higher levels primarily play PvE and have armor sets that will not be as helpful in PvP. I know there are many other contributing factors too, and I hope you guys will forgive me. New topic - [b][i]What is the easiest way to get ascendant shards?[/i][/b] I've been having this problem for a while and is the main reason it takes me so long to lvl up.

I try to stay away from PVP, but from me playing the Iron Banner to get gear I can assume one thing as to why people suck in PVP. People camp in corners and don't know much else to do. I try to run around the map killing people with my Thorn and shotgun, but snipers and scrubs are all over the games. IMO just stick to PVE and PRAY TO GOD that they don't listen to the scrubs going "NERF THIS, BUFF THAT!"

Lol, I have 3 32's when my raid gear is on and all of those characters have better crucible stats than any of yours.

I'm not calling you bad at raids or PvE things, but I'd say most guys below you in rumble are most likely better than you in raids and PvE in general. Some players don't have time to master both or aren't skilled enough to master both.

After hundreds of hours in this game, I can honestly say I don't sink nearly enough time into PvP, so whenever I do play, i suck big time. I spend the vast majority of my time doing PvE.

1 ReplyMost destiny players, including me, are PvE players. We don't pay that much attention to PvP unless we have exotic bounties to complete. We get on PvP for fun. If you go with them for PvE you'll see who has no skill.

I'm not the best by any measure. But I'm 31, have more crucible exp than most and I have a pretty decent KDR too. I'll admit to having far less experience with raids than most too.

Also in crucible, light level doesn't matter. Another thing to add, are you telling me that you can only kill 30+ characters? If so when I see you in my match I am going to lower my light level on purpose just you can't top my score :P

Saying someone is unskilled simply because they possess different skills than your own is a little elitist and close-minded. I've taken a few Crucible only OG's into Raids and Nightfalls and they kept dropping like panties on prom night. These people obviously prefer PvE but decided to try the PvP out - god forbid.

Your weapon's stats are what matters, so a blue, green or white with good stats does just as much work as an exotic. A level 3 does and takes the same amount of damage as a 32. Like i said, it's broken. i consistently score about 1.3 now. Highs as high as 7.0 and lows as low as slightly negative. I have been 32 since the third week of the dlc on multiple characters. The crucible is a different game. I have played with people who are God's in the crucible, but take them in the raid and they are terrible. I have played the crucible with people who wreck in the raid but are terrible in the crucible. They are two entirely different skill sets for two entirely different games.

I pve because I have terrible internet. I would PvP a lot more if I had good connection/services. This may be the case with lots of people who choose to play even with garbage internet. Crucible sucks when u have crap providers, but some would say it's better than not playing at all... I dunno. Just throwing around some shiz.

Your post gives me the impression that you think levels matter in Crucible. Higher levels don't have advantages over low levels so a level 3 could come in and wipe the floor with everyone else. I do know some high level players that could put you in your place if that's what you want?

1 ReplyBecause level advantages don't matter. Suros does almost as much damage as the Khostov. I've taken the top spot in the past with a lvl 4 warlock, it's nothing to really boast about as the crucible is an unbalanced mess.
