Arcbade was definitely nerfed. Bungie, why?
I thought it was just me. Dying super quick, taking 2 hits to kill. I asked a bunch of friends, same deal. Just checked in on tripleWreck (twitch streamer) and he's running arcblade wondering wtf is going on. So, its definitely not just me. Bungie, why? It wasn't OP.
Edit - I run all classes and like playing all characters. I just think it sucks for it to be ninja nerfed when it really doesn't need it. I'd feel the same for all supers.
Edit 2 - This isn't about me or about me being bad. I have a good kd (2.0), communicate well and usually go at least 20+ in crucible. I love both pve and pvp and I'm not an elitist. I think I'm better than average bc of the results I get.

I love this game! But sadly the majority of the community I can't stand! All of you saying it takes skill to us arc blade, or fist of havoc, hell any super... Well your wrong it takes skill to use any of them effectively. It's easy to smash FoH when your about to die, even easier to revive yourself and be even more powerful than you were, it's easy to activate arc blade and hit the bumper as fast as you can! The skill comes from knowing when and where to use it. Especially using it to benefit your team and not just yourself. I didn't mention all supers but this all are included. First realize they are "supers" they should be OP and you should hate them all for different reasons. Second realize they all have down sides in one way or another! A ninja nerf was wrong bc it was ninja and it was unneeded. What is needed in the game is a matter of opinion but nerfs are just making it worse! Stop!!!!! Your all idiots asking for nerfs but hey that's just my opinion

If anything, the other classes need to be nerfed. Hunters supers were underpowered already, but this just sucks.

23 RepliesThe arcblade was meant to be a showstopper, just like nova bomb, fist of havoc, and golden gun. Saying its OP is like saying a banana is a fruit. Nova bomb, fist of havoc, arc blade, and golden gun are all meant to be OP. Thats why it has a long cooldown. The only reason why people can use it more often is because they hustle and get kills to charge it quicker. Think it is a bit of a flaw in the game to be able to use your super 15 times in a single match, but we cant really fix that. [b]TL:DR Arcblade is just as OP as the other supers, people just time arcblade better.[/b]

It did get nerfed along with Golden Gun, sadly. Good thing I hardly use my Hunter. I rage so much more than my Warlock. XD

Umm yeah it was actually op. I'd use my best primaries even shotguns to try to outlast arcblade and I'd always die. I'm glad they nerfed it. Way too op and took no skill to use.

Guys, Fifty to one Bungie is doing stealth nerfs/buffs every week to see how well any permanent changes might work down the road. They buff then they unbuff. They nerf then they unnerf. And they see how it affects the game. Just because you think you notice something doesn't make it real and doesn't make it permanent. Also, if you catch a night when your stuff is getting a stealth buff, you might be wreaking house but it ain't because you were The Death Dealing MLG Grim Reaper that you claim to be on YouTube. Think about it. Anyhow, I still die to Arc Blade often enough, so don't sweat it too much.
