Arcbade was definitely nerfed. Bungie, why?
I thought it was just me. Dying super quick, taking 2 hits to kill. I asked a bunch of friends, same deal. Just checked in on tripleWreck (twitch streamer) and he's running arcblade wondering wtf is going on. So, its definitely not just me. Bungie, why? It wasn't OP.
Edit - I run all classes and like playing all characters. I just think it sucks for it to be ninja nerfed when it really doesn't need it. I'd feel the same for all supers.
Edit 2 - This isn't about me or about me being bad. I have a good kd (2.0), communicate well and usually go at least 20+ in crucible. I love both pve and pvp and I'm not an elitist. I think I'm better than average bc of the results I get.

I have seen Titans and Warlocks die all the time using their supers while I have seen maybe 3 Hunters die in almost 5 months.

Hit another with 2 direct fusion rifle hits within 1 hit kill range, they lived again (though at least lost a good chunk of health that time). Usually I'll kill a couple people using it a night. Edited by SweetZombieJesus: 3/3/2015 7:58:25 PMI noticed this a month ago. I just chalk it up to players in crucible being ready for it. I can't activate AB with people aware. They'll switch to secondary fusion or shottys and take me down. I now use blink with AB and cloaking ability. Gets me 3 to 4 kills now. It's all good. You can still clear a room. Just need to play smart.

Jesus Christ honestly, I know people say this ALL the time but -blam!- it, hunters are the ONLY class where EITHER super can reap four plus kills in four different rooms consistently. It's time to start playing like everyone else, your super won't allow you to safely escort your Fireteam from a to b anymore. Your hunters in the crucible!!!! Find a new way to help your team win other than spamming 15 or your 30 kills off your unbalanced super. It shouldn't have been like to begin with. Literally gliding a cross the level, immune to anything but heavies and supers. I hope you p******* suffer when the new dlc drops. If the titan ever gets a super that's a DoT thing like BOTH the hunters supers abilities, I'm bringing them both out of retirement to ascend to the top of the playstation crucible ranks. Even if it's defensive driven, it can't get much worse than what we've got. PS: y'all have a THROWABLE one hit kill LAND-MINE grenade. That's what we should be talking about here

2 RepliesArc Blade was definitely [i]not[/i] nerfed. It's always been weak in pve and easy to counter in crucible. No one ever said a super was "free easy kills with total invincibility". Don't try to bladedance someone holding a shotgun, arc blade doesn't give extra shielding.

i got the feeling it was silently nerfed aswell 2 weeks ago my arcblade kill ratio was a lot higher than after the general weapons patch im sure they did nerf it without telling anybody. might just be me dunno!
