Hey guys,
I've got a question for you guys...
Are we really the "Light"?
Is it possible we are made to believe we are the "Light" by the Traveler as a cover up? Or possibly every species is made to believe that they are the "Light"?
Notice sometimes when you enter a Fallen area Dregs will sometimes scream "The Darkness!"...
Very strange this happens.. Another interesting thing is Banshee-44 says "How many times has my system been wiped? 41.. 42.. 43??" Could every Guardian in the Tower who has a -(Number) at the end of their name had their system wiped (Number - 1) times?? It leads you to believe that Banshee-44 found out too much about the Darkness, or even found too much about the Traveler 43 or so times. Could it be possible the Traveler didn't want that information shared around so he wiped Banshee-44s system 43 times?? Think about it and then let me know what YOU think!
Enjoy :)

There is a little darkness in us all. So is a little madness.
-
If that's what the story turns into I will laugh my ass off, seeing as that's the easiest way to make a shit story.
-
1 ReplyDregs speak an alien language maybe it actually is "The Light!"
-
1 ReplyNo. We are not the Darkness.

I once did a raid with a pug and raid leader discussed how he ran across a subreddit involving a former story writer from the game. It basically supported your idea.
he had said that we are actually an agent for the darkness and that is why the queen and her brother were skeptical to help. He also said the big mind blowing moment is the reveal that the black garden is actually inside the traveler. True or not it's an interesting concept.
1 ReplyOne thing that sparked my curiosity is the first mission on Venus. In the end seen where the stranger refers to the vex being so evil it hates other evil. It seems like the vex hate us quit a bit. Just a thought.

When the shit hit's the fan i'll go hide in the grotto untill everything blows over ~_~

4 RepliesI've had the same thought for awhile now. I believe it's on Mars during a story mission when your ghost says something along the lines of " it's not an invasion, they're returning home". That statement has serious implications.
-
I thought that all Exo characters (save the stranger) just had numbers at the ends of their names.

Um forums....... yep real darkness.

1 ReplyWell technically all life feeds on Light. and all the races other than the Vex are intruders in the solar system. The Vex are creatures of Order not actually evil. and the only character in the game that says they are evil is a the Stranger who admits that she is not on the side of light.(So can you really trust her She gives no real explanation for her motives and didn't actually sound pleased with the idea of working together, it would be more likely that she was just exploiting you who cares if who gives you a crappy gun) Sure the vex are attacking but they are just defending their territory and only become active if some one is messing with their stuff which most of the races are doing with the exception of the Hive.
