confirmed extra exotic roll after Crota
Didn't believe it and thought it was a bunch of crap then I did Crota on normal twice tonight and both times I got a weapon and shards.
Then the first time we talked and messed around till it kicked us to the roll screen and baam! 3 out of the 5 of us left got exotics that did not show up when we killed Crota.
We then ran through the whole raid again and at the end of Crota it happened again this time only one of us got one but it still happened again.
Can't believe it and still trying to think about all the exotics I've missed out on in the past because I didn't stay.

Edit: Just to clarify..... These exotics did not show up in ticker or top of screen with others. It was a completely different set. Played this game probably more then I should have definitely know how it all works and this was separate.

I use to think same thing but the same exotic that shows up on reward screen you get if u go to orbit right away

Got last word on the final screen yesterday but somene said it also showed up in the loot list righta after you defeat crota ...

This has been disproved so many times now. If you can get a video from multiple of your fireteam and watch, you'll see the exotics. And also, before anyone tries this argument, exotics don't show up in your inventory until you go to orbit. So it looks like that screen is giving you exotics but it is not. My fireteam has waited around just talking crap and trying to find others to run it again and we've never got exotics that someone hasn't seen scroll by

Did crota the other night, got dropped some shards and a helmet, when we went back to orbit I got dropped a patience and time, when I said it to the guys in the party they said it showed in the bottom left of the screen where you get a split second to see what people got. Waiting till you get kicked is just wasting your time, but hey your only wasting your own time so whatever works for you guardian.

It shows exoctic it just scrolls so fast people don't see then reward screen shows exoctics.....

Video? This has been confirmed false so many times already. I was with a party and an exotic showed on my ticker but not the player who got it. I told him what he was rewarded, we waited for reward screen and lo and behold guess what he got?? The exact exotic I saw but he didnt. False false false, stop spreading the disproven myth.

There is no confirmation bud..... Everything that drops shows on the bottom right side. U may not see certain things becUse there is a ton of words popping up in that 2-3sec. Don't be surprised if u don't catch it. I don't stand around for an extra 5 min to get something I already have gotten.

It pops on the kill feed with the rest of the rewards, not an extra roll...

you get it either way , i left to orbit and got a last word whioch didnt show up before , no need to wait for rewards screen , the loot is already set at the time you beat boss, its just exotics appear in your inventory in orbit

I got a plan C like that. For whatever reason exotics pop up after you get into orbit.

After crota dies, you can leave at any point and still get it. Exotics don't always shoe up as a drop till you leave. My friend got gjallarhorn and didn't realize it till he was back in orbit. Same for me with plan c. We both left as soon as crota went down.

You're a moron When I got thunder lord it didn't show up in the feed until we left, we didn't stay When I got it again the next day from crota again Same thing This is fake don't waste your time

Sometimes it says on the bottom left, but won't pop out. My friend said I got the Truth, never popped out and wasn't in my inventory until I went back to orbit. Stop listening to all the extra exotic posts

2 RepliesEdited by Dadiola: 2/17/2015 4:10:27 PMYou don't have to wait the extra 4-5 minutes....here is another secret that Bungie does'nt tell you...If the whole team runs out to where Crota spawns immediately after he is killed (has to be within 30 seconds) and stands in a circle and dances for exactly 15 seconds everyone is guaranteed an exotic weapon. Once you have danced for exactly 15 seconds you must turn your xbox off for a minimum of 30 minutes...when you turn it back on the exotic will be at the tower with the postmaster.....

They dont always show up at the bottom but then show up when you leave. Same as staying and waiting for the screen. No shit, confirmed.

You don't have to stay. It's a glitch. With all of the rewards appearing, some don't appear.

Its a false, I've gotten exotics after crota several times after quitting before the end screen.

1 ReplyIf you know how the game works than you understand that the display list that shows the loot drops is glitched. It does NOT always show all drops. Example : my friend got the crux from killing crota. We left BEFORE the load screen. He checked in his inventory and he also recieved the ghallarhorn. We did not wait for that load screen but he still recieved the loot. Example : half the time when people complete the nightfall, the reward doesn't show up in the display list. It does show up however in the load screen at the end. ...but please, feel more than free to add another five minutes to your raid for a superstition.
