Oh so you disregard Evolve
You must never have played Dota or any real competitive game for that matter.
Arguments:
Multiplayer only: tell a pro gamer that multiplayer only games suck and he'll laugh in your face and say "you play games for something other than PvP? Ha!"
Dota is a multiplayer only game and they just set a new record of 1,074,464 playing Dota this past weekend.
DLC blah blah idk what I'm talking about:
So the game and all of its gameplay content cost $60. Anyone saying otherwise is a sheep repeating yellow journalism propaganda.
Any future gameplay content is free, if you want to keep playing destinys newest content you have to pay for every dlc, most of you have already spent more money on destiny than I ever will on Evolve.
In game store: along the same lines of the last argument. You don't wanna play a game because it sells completely optional and completely irrelevant to the gameplay cosmetic content? That seems foolish. Again they aren't the first game to use an in-game store that sells cosmetics, skins, hats. Dota pioneered this good business practice and again it's one of the top 3 successful games right now.
Just saying if you've bought The Dark Below you've already spent $15 more than I ever will for Evolve and you'll be paying a lot more to finally play the full game... Someday

I don't argue that the game is good or bad I'm just saying I don't want to play a game that is just a multi player mini game and that's all.

What is the primary language you speak Rim? Off the top of my head, I can't think of any where #Destiny can be confused with #Gaming. There's a dedicated forum for chatting about other games, be so kind as to use that forum, okay? :-)

If it were free, they would be saying they were planning on free updates. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't follow that game to closely, but I would wager you are going to have paid DLC's. They already have planned DLC. Sure you won't need to buy it to play the game, but you won't have access to that content.

Old post but whatever... Both games are great! I play Destiny more, but when my friends hop online we go monster hunting! Evolve will not kill Destiny as the two aren't alike (except they both lack decent storylines and they're both cash grabs with their DLC ideas). To each his own, but in my opinion they're both interesting games.

1 ReplyFrom the Alpha test, all I did in the game was run constantly after and away from the monster. My thumb was killing me after playing the Alpha, not fun.

If I want to spend $200 on destiny is my problem not yours. I will keep on playing Destiny or any other game I want. I won't be telling you what should you play or if you're spending too much or anything as a matter of fact. By this I'm not saying evolve sucks because it might be better than destiny but that doesn't change anything. There's many players who like destiny even if the game is not the best because it isn't and that's the truth. I don't care if it lacks story because it does...I don't care how many flaws you can find on destiny which there are many flaws...but yet I'll play it because is my business, my time and my own enjoyment. So do yourself a favor and mind your business and go play evolve and have fun...period.

Yea I do disrespect a game that has $140 worth of DLC the first day it's released! That's -blam!-ING SAD! I swear their is no good game developers anymore. All they do is try to steal your money and milk the shit out of their products.

Didnt waste any money on Destiny DLC and i wont, as for Evolve played it for 2 hours and got bored of it, thank god i didnt buy it either, win-win for me
