Oh so you disregard Evolve
You must never have played Dota or any real competitive game for that matter.
Arguments:
Multiplayer only: tell a pro gamer that multiplayer only games suck and he'll laugh in your face and say "you play games for something other than PvP? Ha!"
Dota is a multiplayer only game and they just set a new record of 1,074,464 playing Dota this past weekend.
DLC blah blah idk what I'm talking about:
So the game and all of its gameplay content cost $60. Anyone saying otherwise is a sheep repeating yellow journalism propaganda.
Any future gameplay content is free, if you want to keep playing destinys newest content you have to pay for every dlc, most of you have already spent more money on destiny than I ever will on Evolve.
In game store: along the same lines of the last argument. You don't wanna play a game because it sells completely optional and completely irrelevant to the gameplay cosmetic content? That seems foolish. Again they aren't the first game to use an in-game store that sells cosmetics, skins, hats. Dota pioneered this good business practice and again it's one of the top 3 successful games right now.
Just saying if you've bought The Dark Below you've already spent $15 more than I ever will for Evolve and you'll be paying a lot more to finally play the full game... Someday

Uhm ... U mad or NAWH? 1 million players huh? That's supposed to be one of the most successful games out with ONLY 1 million players? I don't think so. I remember a time when WoW was competing for top spots, they had 16 million subscribers. Something tells me dota isn't as big as you think it is.

5 RepliesWhile I love evolve and haven't played much destiny since it came out, I will admit that's it's not for everyone. If you're not good at the game, you get bored quickly because you spend every game running around the map until the monster hits lvl 3 and wrecks you... BUT if you are good at the game and have friends to play it with, you should have a blast and head off the monster constantly. Even if he does get to lvl 3 it's not hard to win with a good team

Its hilariously easy to play as any monster and win, and its been that way since the alpha. I'm convinced you could win as the Kraken if you hit level 3 then went afk. Its so broken you'd still manage to decimate the hunters. The only real chance the hunters have is if its Goliath or they have a great Val and Bucket with them, or if the monster player is terrible.
