How much longer do we as a community have to "give feedback" about how atrocious Overload Champions and Overload Mods are, until you actually do something about it? Countless videos of buggy Overload procs, countless videos from even players like Esoterrick showcasing how absurd these Champions are. [b][u]For two and a half years now, we have put up with the silence. And STILL you say nothing. "We are listening" has become the biggest lie you have ever told![/u][/b]
Plain and simple: Overload Champions need to be toned down. You gave them for too much with far too little to work against them. The only reason I didn't mind them last season was because of Thermoclastic Strike, and the endless shuriken spam on Hunter to stunlock them. Now however, we have absolute garbage-tier Overload mods.
But now, there is no way to reliably keep Overload Champions stunned. So they'll just keep hammering you with an endless Barrage of gunfire as soon as the 2 second stun is over... and you can't even re-stun them for another 5-10 seconds after that! What kind of BS is this?
And therein lies the issue: there is no way to reliably control them, unlike Unstoppable and Anti-Barrier Champions. And the second that you leave them be.... they regenerate to full HP in 2-3 seconds. This might not sound that bad when fighting them as a fireteam, but it makes things like solo Master Lost Sectors and GM Nightfalls genuinely agonizing.
[b][u]My proposal: reduce both the health regen and the stun immunity timer by 50%.[/u][/b] You want them to feel strong that's fine; but don't make them feel like a god. As it is now, Overload Champions are not fun or challenging at all to go up against. They're just B.S.
[i]Edit: a little context for this whole thing. I was running today's Lost Sector (Bay of Drowned Wishes) on Master difficulty (1580 as a 1569). Cleared it 16 times using Divinity, Threaded Needle, and Messenger. So I have no issue with actually killing the Champions. That isn't the point of this post. The point is that Overloads in particular are supremely obnoxious. If I had a choice between Overload Champions and dealing with 2x as many of the other Champions, I'd take the latter deal in a heartbeat.[/i]

2 답변Was trying to do the lost sector today in lunch from work. Took half the clip to try and stun it (if it even happened). Constant add spawn (screebs) and by the time I got to reposition myself l, it's health had regend.. What a load of trash

Word of advice: never do anything with an overload champion in it while underpowered in comparison to the activity done as you’ll find that facing overload champions in activities [i](in your case, 1580 master lost sector at 1569 light which is 11 light under.)[/i] champions effects such as overload health regen, barrier health regen, etc. are more noticably more effective. But as your light gets to that level (getting to 1580 power.) those champion effects become less effective as it is dependent on your power level, the lower your power, the more powerful champions effects are. This is especially true and more noticable with overload champions. The rare exception here would be in the case of grandmaster nightfalls.

The mods speak for this themselves; five shots or more to even proc overload shot on some of the worst weapons for over load stuns. The entire community repeatedly asked for LeMonarque to have intrinsic overload stun, which, there is only one exotic to have currently. Yes Div is great but it doesn't do a lot of damage and if your team isn't specc'd for Div it's just a tool to stun. Same with the Scorn snipers; people can say what they want but since this is a Scorn focused DLC/season they've been beefed up a bit. Or, guardian damage resistance has been reduced on purpose to slow down power creep in relation to the ability and builds now. I don't care DMG said they will get nerfed/corrected in the future; if it wasn't intended they probably would have fixed it sooner. And from these comments you can also tell who's only running lost sectors and who's running GMs. Striga looks nice but the poison isn't that great on overloads since they teleport like half of the crucibabies on crack. Overload nades are pretty strong though.

Divinity is the only way to really lock down and crush Gm level overloads consistently Having test driven the new warlock boots I will say overload witherhoard/rockets does let you easily team nuke them in under 3s even in gms, if you are on comms and tell your fire team to stand in the rift

2 답변작성자: max 4/12/2022 6:14:20 AMMy problem are mostly with how often they teleports the way anti overload mods work usually requires constant shooting till the stun round hit, the teleportation is more like a design flaw than just annoying unless you use a bow or a hc with explosive rounds, not really a fan of either in pve plus the entire existence of auto rifle champ mod is a joke, random round to stun a teleporter in my 62 rounds mag? what genius mind came up with that

Happened 3x in gm I stunned unstop went in for finisher and got rekt. The unstop did the animation it said was stunned when I went in for finisher I got hulk smashed. Pretty sure it glitched bunI’m so terrified of unstops in gms now lol

작성자: Olórin 4/12/2022 10:11:12 PMDespite me using Divinity, the problem i have with the latest GM's is that Champions (Overloads in particular) regenerate health when frozen via Stasis abilities and reset their status. Pretty much creating a limbo between stunning and health regeneration. An ability is supposed to assist you not hinder the situation. Imo, I feel like it should where if a combatant (PvE only) is slowed or frozen, then their health regeneration is halted. Trying to stun and kill multiple Overload champions in one area on Glassway with Wyverns and the Boss is super annoying even with the invis strategy and Divinity.

2 답변I found osteo works really well because the poison continues to prevent health regen. Couple that with overload grenades and ur good to go. I do agree tho that at face value, auto/smg is the worst weapon class for overloads

The more Overload rounds you put into them when they are stunned the longer the remain restunnable before getting health back. Stun with Overload, swap to rockets = WRONG! Stun with Overload, keep pumping Overload rounds into them = RIGHT. This extends the time before they regain health The ONLY time an Overload gets away is when I stop putting constant sustained Overload damage AFTER it's been stunned Once you stop dealing with Overloads the same way you deal with Unstoppables, you'll never have a problem again. You can learn how Overloads work(and how they don't work the way you THINK they're SUPPOSED to work) OR you can blame the game because you're not willing to open your mind to the possibility that maybe, just maybe, you're using the wrong techniques. The choice is yours

15 답변How many exotic drops did you get from your 16 clears of the lost sector on 1580? I did several completions on 1580 and recieved zero exotic drops. I wonder what Bungie's definition of common is? .000002 %more common than rare lol?

11 답변We have Exotics in each slot that can handle Barrier and Unstoppable champs. We have 0 exotics for Overload. This season has really hammered home how few tools we have to deal with them.

2 답변New warlock boots make everything shot from within the rift overload. Also grants devour I believe. Not sure how much stronger an option you can ask for
