Overloads =/= Unstoppable
If you stun an Overload then swap weapons you're doing it wrong
Use Overload rounds and Overload rounds only!
The more Overload rounds you put into them when they are stunned the longer the remain restunnable before getting health back.
Stun with Overload, swap to rockets = WRONG!
Stun with Overload, keep pumping Overload rounds into them = RIGHT. This extends the time before they regain health
The ONLY time an Overload gets away is when I stop putting constant sustained Overload damage AFTER it's been stunned
Once you stop dealing with Overloads the same way you deal with Unstoppables, you'll never have a problem again.
You can learn how Overloads work(and how they don't work the way you THINK they're SUPPOSED to work) OR you can blame the game because you're not willing to open your mind to the possibility that maybe, just maybe, you're using the wrong techniques.
The choice is yours

If you stun a champion and don't dump enough damage to kill it, whether it skates away and regains full health, or you set it up to be stunned again is determined by what you do after it's stunned. Done right you will be able to stun it again. Done wrong and it will be impossible to stun it again before it gets all its health back.

Two major problems with this process: 1) If you think for one second that an Overload is gonna sit back and let you pump mag after mag of SMG or Auto Rifle ammo into with without blowing your face off, you are grossly underestimating their lethality. 2) Even if you were to use Divinity, which overloads with every single round fired, it will still take AN ENTIRE MAG of Divinity ammo to kill one champion. This is exactly what I was doing during my Master Lost Sector runs, and it burns through Special Ammo like a monster.

I went into a master lost sector and made some clips showing what I mean. If you are on Xbox and you are interested in learning how Overloads in this game work, I could send them to you. Up to you Either way, have a nice day

Yes, sometimes it does require a lot of words to explain an idea. I have no problem with Overloads. You do. What's more probable: My Xbox and/or copy of Destiny 2 is different than yours OR I know something you don't know?
