Hello,
so recently my long time friend got insta permaban without a reason. Because he forgot he was running a Mission tracker for Hades ( A COMPLETLY DIFFRENT GAME) Ive been playing with him for almost 1 1/2 years now i know he is not hacking at all !
Today i played 2 games of comp. Second game i come across this one guy who is steam lvl 2 and had a 100% headshot rate and he started shooting before i came around corners.
Note, he is still not banned btw.
So i start to ask myself why do u not respond for almost a week now to my clan leader like he really wants at least to know the reason for his ban.
So pls Bungie reach out to me and lets talk about this why u never NEVER ban the real cheaters.
If u wont respond at all i will consider to get my money back for beyond light.

Hey there! The #Help forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for him to appeal his ban or restriction. Please review the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here. Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that his ban or restriction will be overturned. For more information on Bungie's policy regarding bans and restrictions, please review the policy here. Also, if you suspect someone of cheating, you can use the in-game report tool. You can also report users by utilizing Bungie’s Report Suspected Cheating article. Here is the information they are looking for:
* Display name of the “known good” player. Is this you? A friend of yours? * Display name of the suspect(s) and any other identifying info you have (clan name, Steam ID, etc.) * Explain what suspicious behavior was observed. * Note the platform the behavior was observed on. * Provide a link to the Post-Game Carnage Report (PGCR) on Bungie.net. * And if possible: * Give us links to any video evidence. This could be a YouTube video or archived Twitch stream with timestamps, a clip, or a video you have recorded and shared via a public sharing service. (Sorry, we can’t connect to your private Google Drive or OneDrive to view a video).
toneDef Wearyにより編集済み: 10/23/2020 3:04:52 AMYour friend was running an outside program that likely tried to hook into Destiny. The pitfalls of PC gaming is being held to the higher standard. The other person you mentioned will likely be met with a ban, though that type will more than likely just make a new account and be right back to cheating. Probably one of the jackwagons that runs "recovery services". Don't run unsupported/cheat programs while playing online games on PC. Edit - You might as well get your money back while you can... You won't be seeing a response from Bungie on this post.

Decca0805により編集済み: 10/23/2020 7:03:52 AMBans are permanent and placed manually after investigation of the account in question. Alternatively, they are placed automatically by the anticheat on PC and later confirmed by an employee on review. The forum cannot lift your ban, but you are able to appeal it. If your appeal isn’t responded to within about 5 days, it has been denied. Appeal your ban or restriction Bungie’s Bans and Restrictions Policy As an extension, we see many posts a day from blatant cheaters asking why they’ve been banned or to be unbanned. And thats only the ones who come to the forums to lie their way out of it. Bungie does ban cheaters, a lot. They investigate before they do so to ensure they’ve got the right people, which just takes time and they haven’t got a large team.

For your buddy it is functioninhbas intended
We do not ban players for simply having cheat tools installed, but do ban for running them while playing Destiny 2. We do not differentiate between cheat tools for Destiny 2 and cheat tools for other games because it would be easy to avoid a ban by making a Destiny 2 cheat tool that pretends to be a cheat tool for another game. Make sure you turn all cheat tools off before running Destiny 2 and you won’t have to worry about bans.
(source)
