Before anyone asks: We know you want more room in your Vaults for your favorite weapons. We know how much you want it. We want that for you. It's a think we're talking about. New game features take time to build. Hang in there, and hope for the future.

    • Bungie is currently having issues with their developing team sabotaging each other for credit on how to fix issues. The hostile environment has led to a number of on site injuries and few promotions. One head developer said "The future destiny launches will be delayed indefinitely. We just cannot get our people to work together to fix issues. These problems are not helped with the fact DeeJ keeps lying to the gamers." It just seems 20,000 man hours every week is just not enough to fix the random number generator and how heavy ammo drops. I have more people liking this post than sending me comments about stopping. - fact 40hours a week x 500 developers = 20,000 - fact Bungie is hiring a chief team officer for developers for most teams - fact DeeJ lies - fact Did someone get hurt at bungie facility - fact Is their competition in the bungie work environment - fact The delay - i am just guessing because of all the facts above are true

      • So 1.1.1 has hit, and I'm still loosing heavy ammo just like before. And I'm finding for the same weapon on different characters I can carry different amounts (Hunger of Crota, 5 on 31 Titan, 4 on 27 Hunter)

        • DeeJ, could you please explain the 2.5% base damage reduction for the ARs? I'm afraid some of the Guardians in these forums just do not understand. And none of us can talk any informative sense without being argued against. You could explain it like you are trying to teach a child. In a post without the ability to reply.

        • Sometimes the synthesis does not even register when you reload. Why is this not on the list to be fixed. The timer appears but your ammo count remains zero.

              • The game that we will never get- Destiny has been a great experience for me as well as most of the community but i guess not for some who feel discontentment towards the overall expectation and potential this game may be holding back. Not everyone can be pleased but let's try and make it happen for destiny 2 or maybe something's can go towards a major update. In destiny we have a game that looks as beautiful as it feels with some very impressive mechanics and a big open world so let's expand on that and make this the greatest game ever to grace our consoles. • Space patrols we have some very nice looking ships so let's see if these babies can fly and shoot as good as they look. Let us explore the solar system we are so desperately trying to protect. We can go out in fireteams taking down major/ultra ships for much needed resources or as part of missions to stop the darkness from expanding/invading other colonies. The cabal love to "destroy planets for getting in their way" so why not let us fight to protect some of these planets and if successful then we can be rewarded with the planets resources. The possibilities are endless •Horde mode This is where it gets interesting. So we have a tower, the last known city on earth, surrounded by the darkness. Ok, so let's have an army of the fallen, hive etc advancing on the city at all times and it requires guardians to band together and kill an x amount of enemies per day at the bottom of the tower. If guardians hit their daily target then more resources should be available in the city. However, if we fail our target then resources should be drained from the cities vendors for 24 hours and guardian abilities should be nerfed during this time. This can be incorporated into any planet or any out of bounds areas so if you go somewhere bungie does not want us to go then there should be masses of enemies at level 100 that will destroy any guardian who dares to venture into that area. This will add some much needed illusion of depth and density to the universe. They can also be part of daily/weekly events. The possibilities are endless. •The last city on earth (not tower but city) Let's make this place more like it should be. A city, the last city on earth. Zion threw a party for the machines so let us use our dance skills and have a party loud enough to make the fallen remember that this is earth and we are not afraid!!! More vendors and NPC's should be available in the city as well as low forms of trading like materials, shards etc. We need a city hall if we are to be successful against planning for the darkness. This place will include elders and NPC's who distribute missions, bounties, gear, war reports/information etc to the most competent of guardians and can be the go to place to recruit guardians for events. It would be nice to scrap the vault and give everyone a living space to store their favourite gear and maybe display some trophies from our conquests. Gate keepers head anyone? Everyone should have the same living space like GTA online but can be upgraded to store more or to have more of a unique look to it. Guardians should be able to invite 2 friends to their quarters to start a fireteam. The possibilities are endless •Wildlife and NPC's We need more RPG elements to breathe some fresh air into destiny so bring in some much needed life to the world with interesting characters that we can grow to love and protect. We can do mission/bounties for them. Even if it's just farming to get them things and it should effect them in someway or another. Some should be incorporated into the story as part of the main quests or side missions. Some NPC's can act as vendors with access to weapons, armour, material etc and others can offer upgrades for equipment/sparrows/ships/ghost so that when you rank them up then you can use materials from raids to upgrade your ships defence/attacks, speed, fire power, rockets, machine guns etc. ghosts should also be fully customisable with skill trees that offer more in combat situation and also to bring up world maps. Planets should be filled with lower alien species who strive to survive in the wild and can be used to hunt for materials or can be captured by guardians to be tamed and act as pets who can scout, hunt for materials and help take down lower level enemies or just to have for the social aspect. The possibilities are? you guessed it! Endless!! •Future raids I very much enjoyed taking down Crota in hard mode in the first week which was a lot of fun. Nothing was more satisfying than a team of six of the best guardians fighting for each other to emerge victorious. So let's make it even more epic. How? Space battles should be included at the start/middle/end of raids that span across galaxies/planets and a whole raid can also be in space which would be amazing. It should start in the city hall. After contemplating strategies and essential gear we should go to the hanger and jump in our ships and off to orbit we go. The raid will start from orbit where fireteams have to fly through the cosmos towards our desired raid destination while avoiding space junk and enemies shooting desperately to stop us from reaching the boss. After taking down many enemy ships and finding our way through the space labyrinth bungie has created for us, we finally reach our destination. A mothership! We chase this mothership whilst trying to take it down in an epic space battle and when the mother ship takes enough damage then it crash lands on a forbidden planet. "The vex turned Mercury into a machine" comes to mind. The mothership is of gigantic proportion and looks like a fortress so we battle our way into this mysterious ship where not all is what it seems. Over to you bungie because the possibilities are endless. EDIT 1- So about the vex turning planets into machines, how about this for a raid. The vex have sacrificed themselves to a planet and turned it into an uncontrollable machine that spins wildly on its axis causing it to absorb planets in its path. Six chosen guardians will have to venture into space to seek and destroy this planet before it devours our entire solar system. 6 guardians will travel to a comet close to the monster planet and land safely to get a good vantage point to inflict solar damage in a maze of sequences whilst fighting off incoming ships. 5 guardians will do damage to the planet in a small window of opportunity that will slow the planets spin briefly bringing down the shield which is caused by the spin after avoiding incoming enemies and space debris. At this point 1 guardian who is an expert at space flight will hop into their trusted flight companion and fly dangerously close to the planet to inflict void damage from their exotic/legendary/raid ship cannons and then return back to the comet safely whilst avoiding an array of obstacles. Rinse and repeat. If the planet enrages then it's Big Bang theory all over again. Guardians down! Please repost and spread the word if you like this post!

i love how they are so quick to fix cheeses, but when it came to glitches they take all the time in the world. today on crotas hard, after first sword, we were in the crystal room when a gate keeper decided to pop up out of no where, kill us, then disappear

                • I was afraid you were going to fix another heavy ammo glitch I saw on someone's stream. A way to generate unlimited heavy ammo. I don't know for sure how it works. But they run out of ammo on purpose, except for one bullet left in their sniper. Then they switch to the Icebreaker, and every enemy they kill drops heavy ammo.

                  • Idk if you guys know about this bug. FIX THE ACCOUNT, LINKING PORTION. Alot of our friends list never works on bungie.net. and at the moment the party app still glitches, getting nothing but shards or energy in raids. Not ever getting raid armor helmet when we should, im sure your working on some of these bugs but dobt forget the rest of which you have forgotten to improve. Banjo error still goes on, cattle error, I got so many weapons that have glitched properties. I have had a for the people auto. It did not have a scout magazine upgrade. But it somehow still had a 34 magazine. So it mixed up the upgrade on it. The gun itself was not proper. I been getting guns that have different upgrades then others who have same exact weapon. I suppose thats normal but if I upgrade a gun n it doesnt have the upgrade for more shots yet it still somehow had more bullets per magazine then it copied the original perks but gave stability n range finder instead. It was for the people auto rifle. Im the only person that I know of that this is happened too.

                  • Here's an idea. Give us custom crucible maps. Let us mess around with our friends playing games like in halo2/3. Shotty snipes anyone? Bumper cars with interceptors? Or personal 3v3 matches that are not ranked? Also how about an option to change the element of our class. Like if we pay 25k glimmer we can switch from being a sunsinger to a voidsinger. Or switching a void walker to a arcwalker. Or blade dancer to a voiddancer? Can you imagine the awesome solarbombs? Or the void gun? Or a titan solar smash. How about a raid full of all warlocks, 1 of each element for each subclass. Just some fun ideas that could be an easy trade off for more game time. Reply to this with what element combo you would use or what custom map you would make.

                  • Why is ammo calculated as a fraction in the inventory system? If I'm understanding this correctly, this would only apply to people who have armor with ammo modifiers equipped (increase the amount of heavy ammunition you can carry), and it would apply to any ammo type that has a modifier (special or heavy). For example, if I'm using Gjallerhorn, I can carry 4 rockets, but with armor modifiers I can carry 7 rockets (I don't know if these numbers are accurate. I'm just using it as an example). If they calculate your ammo as a fraction, and you started with full ammo, you'd have 4/4 rockets. Now equip the modifier. You now have 7/7 rockets. Makes sense, right? Actually, it doesn't because that is more than the perk is promising to do. It doesn't say that it will increase the amount of ammo you have, just the amount you can carry. That's why the game doesn't apply the perk that way. Instead, you start with 4/4 rockets. Then, when you equip armor with ammo perk, you have 4/7. That sounds wrong at first, but remember, the perk only says you CAN carry more heavy, not you WILL have more ammo. I think this is how the game applies the perk. But their still calculating ammo as a fraction 4/4 or 7/7 with perk. That's not the same as how the perk is applied. They should calculate it as a static number or 4. This could fix the ammo bug because it changes the way inventory is tracked. Right now, if you have a modifier on that gives you 7 rockets, and you fire one, the game calculates your ammo inventory as a fraction, or 6/7. That's about 86%. So if the game has to render the weapon stats before the perk is applied (this happens when you die, return to orbit, etc.), it's calculating it as 86% of your total ammo (4 without the perk), which is 3.43 rockets (3 rounded to the nearest rocket). The problem (I think) is that when the perk is added, it doesn't restore the first fraction of 6/7. It just changes the amount of ammo you can carry back to 7, making your new ammo amount 3/7. In my mind, there are two way's to fix this without having to reorder the way the game applies perks: 1. Make it so that the perk is applied as a fraction (like my first example). This would mean that when you first apply the perk you are essentially getting ammo for free because you'd be going from 4/4 to 7/7. I don't think this is the best option because the perk is doing more than it promises to do. 2. Calculate ammo as a static number and store the amount of ammo you can carry separately. I know that sounds weird, but could ammo capacity just be stored as a gun stat like impact or range? The amount of ammo you have would be linked to your character, not the weapon. Say I die with 6/7 rockets. The game loads the character, (I have 6 rockets). Then it loads the weapon, (the gun holds 4 rockets). Then it applies modifier (The gun now holds 7 rockets). 6/7 rockets. But what if I take off the armor? Wouldn't I then have 6 rockets, while my gun only carries 4? Sure, but that would only last for a short time (until you fire them). You have that ammo. It's your's. If you take off the perk, it shouldn't go down until you fire those rockets. There are probably a lot of factors I'm missing. I just thought it was interesting and fun to talk about.

                      • I know I'm late to the party but here is one idea that will allow the "time" you need to fix this heavy ammo bug. The reason why we cling to that purple sky so much is because it's expense and we hope every week that Xur will stop being greedy and feed the needy. Yeah it sucks when our heavy disappears each time we die or etc., but the thing that sucks most is that it's so expensive and we have a glimmer cap of what 25,000 that's shared among 3 characters? Nobody wants to go broke cause then that bring the need for more time killing mission just for the sake of leveling or buying whatever. That's why most people don't like the weapon upgrade system from Xur. Point is if you raise the glimmer cap possibly doubling it. It will quiete majority, of course you have the people that will complaint about the sky being blue but you left the option for the players. I understand Destiny is bungies world but don't try to contain everything we do within a box. More glimmer means more spending.
