Although I play as a male, I am in fact of the female variety in real life. I've never tried the VOG because I feel that people might not want to play with me being a female, so I feel that if people don't know this, like on strikes with the mic off then I get treated as 'one of the guys', the job gets done and everyone is happy at the end of it. I really feel I'm missing out on the raids as I don't know what people think and just wondered what's everyone's opinion on females being part of a team.
Are there lots of females playing and I don't know this because I've muted everyone or are there not many at all?
I have three characters on the go, two of them level 31 and play every day, love the game but feel that being female would put you guys off so I stick to strikes and bounties when I really want to try the raids. Is this the case or am I wrong...... Hopefully I am!
Update: Should've said I'm on xbox 360 and thanks to all the offers from other consoles to join their group etc. I've had a great response for the most part so thanks for the continuing comments.

1 RispondiWow. You really just cracked open a bottle of thirst. Be prepared to run. In all honesty, don't claim any identity while playing Destiny, except that of a Destiny player. If we're all Destiny Players it shouldn't matter. By placing barriers on yourself because you might think it'll "put people off" you are placing yourself in a mindframe commonly associated with Internal Sexism. We don't know you're a girl (because we're muted) due to the fact that you believe either part could potentially feel uncomfortable due to this sex difference. You're only hurting/limiting yourself. Not that I'm a Sociology major who specializes in Gender & Sexual Relations. *Wink* *Wink* *Cough* *Cough* -Be who you are & play your game. If people can't hang, there's others to play with.
