As in a topic. Aim assist pisses me off, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one here who hate it. It is annoying when u are shooting in someone and ur target changes on its own cause of stupid aim assist. Please, let us switch off this. Bump this topic guys if u think that we should be able to switch aim assist off.
Edit 1, i see that many people don't know that it is impossible to switch aim assist off. There is no option for that.
Edit 2, yes, there is aim assist in Destiny.

Having the option to turn it off doesn't hurt anyone and help those who want it, simple as that.

I'm so sick of lining up a vandal only to have a dreg run by just before I shoot, stupid aim follows dreg and its back to square one. Easily recovered most times but a pain non the less.

1 RispondiIs this a PvP thing? Because I never play Crucible and I can't tell there is aim assist in PvE, at least not to the point where it has ever effected me negatively or positively.
-
Yeap died too many times because of that aim assist.. I feel you bro
-
I think we've all been in that annoying situation where someone's runs in front of your target and throws of your shots. But aim assist comes in handy far more often than it acts as a hinderance. That being said, I think the option to turn it off would be fine, for those who think they'll play better without it.
-
It would be nice. It's fairly annoying to be dragged off-target by a dancing knight, or acrobatic Vandal.
-
Agreed, aim assist off feature
-
There should at least be an option to switch it off. The aim assist in destiny is blatantly obvious, ive never played a game that was this noob friendly in my life.
-
1 RispondiNo just remove assist from the game period.
-
whaaa!!! get over it for it is not going to happen, they are not going to make that big of a code change to make you happy. and petitions do not work here at all ever.

Ya I was on patrol (not really a big deal) and was aiming outside and an acolyte runs by right when I was aiming at a knight and it locked on the acolyte and traces it and I ended up shooting those little balls that blow up, I killed myself

1 RispondiModificato da Zoollanda: 12/29/2014 6:46:25 PMIf you want to test the aim assist out, run the exclusion zone on Mars. Once you open the door before linking to your sparrow try getting head shots on the cabal as they jump all over the place. It is amazing how far the auto aim drags the reticle away from the target you are shooting. It is SO annoying! I'm not sure if there is more aim assist with different weapons but I use hand cannons and it is out of control.
-
I can't count the amount of times I was killed because my sights jerked off to the side when something flies over something I was aiming at.... So yes please!
-
I'd like to see that. It has burned me several times.

1 RispondiAim assist is the worst when you're trying to kill Phalanxes with a mythoclast :'(
-
1 RispondiThis is only a problem if ur shooting one person and another runs in between you and that person (this is actually a tactic I use when running into a gunfight, help out team mates n'all). Anyway, this only seldom happens and systems of any kind have to be designed for the 'rule' not the 'exception'. Therefor it makes no sense to remove auto aim, just be aware of that very specific and rare occurrence.

2 RisposteLet me put it into perspective, go into a call of duty private match with a friend. Before you start make sure friendly fire is on then you and your friend go on the same team, get a distance away then try and kill each other. It is so much harder without aim assist you are not as good as you think trust me u kinda need aim assist. I think the 76% who don't want it truly don't realize how big of a role it plays in every first person shooter.
-
You can't. These crutchtards made it into a -blam!-ing weapon perk.
-
Or better yet. Give us a frick'n audio mixer.
-
Been campaigning this for months. Fully agree.

3 RisposteOnly if I can use a mouse and keyboard. But that would completely flip the game on its head, man the amount of death someone could rain down with a mouse and keyboard vs controller would be insanity. Controllers need aim assist, its a far too inaccurate with thumbsticks.
