QUESTION: what did you get from Nightfall today?

Haven't been on the forums in a while, but you emailed me thanking me for playing earlier today, and I no longer play DeeJ. I sent this as a reply to the email, but I am posting here because, dammit, I love this game and wish I could actually play it (without using a forum/partnering with peeps I don't know). Here was my reply: Sadly, I no longer play Destiny, although I wish I could. I have a level 28 hunter and a level 29 titan, I do well with multiplayer, and I was completely stalled at 29. I don't believe that I should not be able to access endgame (level 30) without running raids. Had I bought a non-digital edition I would have traded Destiny in, but I am stuck with a 90 dollar hole from the time I spent with your game. I am a 30 year old teacher in two bands and married with three kids. I played every Halo game, and Marathon before that. I am a weekend warrior and find time in the weeks if the game is good. I bought Destiny in good faith based on my trust in Bungie. I am not a REACH hater either--that game was magical--and I ranked up there too. I have two Bungie.net accounts if you want to look me up--R37N7K and Reznyk (which I forgot my password to and started the other gamertag). That being said, I was let down and left out by your title. Why? No matchmaking for raids and strikes. It's a HUGE misstep to not include those. I have three friends on XBOX currently, so I am out of luck for raids, and for nightfall, unless I want to go to a forum. I won't do that by the way, because I believe that a videogame should be self-contained. I won't be forced online to group up. Matchmaking gives me the anonymity I need to play freely. I want to be able to play a video game without commitment to people I don't know personally. It's why I solo in WoW. I am guildless in that game and I can enjoy massive amounts of PVE for days and days in that game and not run out, grind for LEVEL CAPPING GEAR in PvP and do Raid Finder. All great ideas that you declined to take advantage of. When you came out before your expansion and said that that matchmaking wasn't a direction you wanted to go, I was done. I couldn't access the raid, I couldn't ding to 30, and I was just finished.. --And I ran Iron Banner II like crazy--check my playtime--and loved it--to get higher. I am simply just not willing to forum to play. I was with Bungie from day one. I played the Beta. I was an actual "loot caver." I was ONLINE when you patched it, for crying out loud. I loved Destiny, but I guess I'm not your target. I love the world, your story could use some help, but I LOVE the gameplay and the shooting and multiplayer SO MUCH... But Bungie has no love for guys like me anymore. So, I bought a new computer, and I went back to a game that respects my time (WoW) and seems to get the fact that I don't always have six friends online and I want to MMORPG without the MM part. I'm that camper of the Time-Lost Proto Drake and Aeonaxx in WoW. I will put time in if it is rewarded. I renewed my subscription to Blizz, and I am never buying a Bungie game again, unless you address this key issue and take care of the solo gamers. I loved Destiny, and gave it my all--but without going to a forum, I went as far as I could. I know that I could level now to 31, but that's still as far as I can go in my current situation. I still can't cap my level alone. So I am done. Thanks for not caring about players like me. WoW lets me matchmake a raid in like 5 seconds. As far as your learning curve theory on why you won't open raids, it is very narrow-sighted. I think you are forgetting that most players know how to use Youtube to make and watch tutorials. I know I do. So I am happy in an expansion (WoD) that cares what their community thinks, and caters to players like me, and I am telling everyone I know not to play your game. And I'm a teacher, so its been around 100 gamers I have warned off of your product. I have potentially cost you about $6000 in lost sales. And it's been reluctant--but many of them don't have people to play with either, and it's a lonely world in Destiny without chat or LFG matchmaking. I love you Bungie, but you are like a girlfriend who has torn my heart out after I have given you everything (in gaming terms). Eventually, if a relationship is one-sided, you have to break it. So yeah. I won't go on to get my blue engram that will be useless to me, and I am done.

Do people not stop and THINK for a second... It's the holidays, this is now a weekend, thus they are not back from holidays... Wait until Tuesday

Am I the only person that loves the RNG system? I think it's totally fair. I wish people would stop crying about it.
