In the old bungie videos, it showed a Thunderlord's unique upgrade system. The weapon actually had a level, and the higher the level the more unique perks it had. What happened to this system?

Modificato da Seventime17: 12/22/2014 9:30:44 PMOk hopefully get get a response from you. Maybe you could encourage the idea of having vendor gear and weapons being sold with randomized stats and elements. Instead of having set weapons with the only hope of say getting a legendary void sniper that haven't been able to obtain since day 1, based on rng under which I could potentially never find one. Especially cuz the few legendary engrams I rarely get seem to all turn into shards and energy now and not into the weapon class they should've been. At least suggest have a rotating vendor stock on legendary inventory. Thanks

1 RispondiI feel that The Devil You Don't needs a to its rang and that the snap shot perk needs to be replaced with field scout. Right now IMO the TFWPKY is by far the superior choice. I think the rang of the devil you don't needs to be on par with TFWPKY , the same goes for the mag size.

1 RispondiHey my boy, DeeJ whatsup? What do you say we give these kids voidfang investments tomorrow ;)

4 RisposteDeej, just wondering if anyone from the bungie team actually used no land beyond before releasing it?

I love the new exotic upgrade paths, that is, needing an exotic shard to get one. It makes it much less of a hassle to get the exotics to a power level where using them makes sense. That being said, the rest of the introductions make me want to cry. I had a lot of weapons from pre expansion that are getting sharded out one by one because i am getting better replacements and i can't store everything. Some of the older gear i like much better than the newer ones, but i can't justify keeping gear when it doesn't work as well as the new stuff, even if the mechanics don't mesh. Then there is the exotic reset... Whoever thought this up needs to be fired. It took a lot of time to get my suros and mida multitool to 300. Now i have to spend an asinine amount of glimmer and coin to let it keep up with the new expansion. It seems like a lot of extra work and a serious drain on resources for no reason as there were much more elegant solutions that could have been pursued. A final thought. You said pre expansion that. "We want all of your gear to be effective in all tactical situations." leaving out the issues that statement brings up in regards to raids and iron banner, is that still going to be the case when House of Wolves drops? Will my raid gear still be useful when the weapons and armor have outpaced it by two expansions? Or should i just shard out the found verdict now? Just a lot if questions i have about the current system that no one seems to want to answer.

Need to be able to upgrade fatebringer

I want a 2.0 fatebringer....that is all.

Modificato da BaM: 12/19/2014 9:57:09 PMUpgrade path to v1.0 legendaries, most of the v2.0 weapons can't compare in stats other than a higher damage cap. We should be able to upgrade weapons just like exotics. I have seen a couple of v2.0 from friends that are great due to random perks from engrams Edit: Also to keep vault more relevant exotic drops should be 2.0, but I guess an exotic drop is still cool wether at 300 max or 331
-
I have the Crota raid rocket and shotgun. The shotgun fails in comparison to the found verdict. The shotgun doesn't fire in full auto and is not that much different than a vanguard of crucible weapon. The rocket launcher is nice. Tracking and cluster bombs. That's my favourite so far =/
-
Can we at least get the vault raid gear up to 33 light? I don't to dismantle it :(
-
A path to upgrade v1 legendaries, especially VoG Raid weapons.
-
My only question/recommendation would be around factions and vanguard marks and commendations. I suck at crucible and so it takes me a while to get the marks needed to purchase whatever weapons/armor I'm looking at. Add to that the commendation required on weapons and now I've gotta re-level my faction along with getting the marks. No Bueno.

324 RisposteHere's an idea? Let's give everyone at bungie a promotion but reset their pay scale to entry level. That sounds fun right Deej? You just need a good recommendation from your supervisor who only comes into the office once a week and only reviews employees at random and then you can start to work on your raises again. Simple.

115 RisposteJust echoing the rage here. I'm a 40-year-old married father of two, and the CEO of the company I founded 15 years ago. So my gaming time is severely limited (10 hours per week typically, sometimes 15 if my wife takes the kids somewhere). Play time is extremely valuable for us older gamers with effectively unlimited (when it comes to buying games) disposable income. Yesterday when I read that Bungie post, I felt physically nauseous. I've played MMOs and understand gear upgrade cycles, but Bungie really seems to have dropped the ball on this one. After getting all 3 classes to level 30, founding and growing a sizable mature gamers' clan, and being super-excited about the expansion for months, yesterday afternoon and evening I really considered quitting Destiny. I still might, there are a lot of great games out there this time of year. If Bungie wouldn't have reset all my scarce time leveling my exotics, I wouldn't even consider quitting now. The inequity in not recognizing players' huge time and effort to upgrade their exotics is massive, and is going to cost Bungie a lot of revenue over the long-term. Players' hard efforts grinding experience and materials should always be built upon as expansions are released, not destroyed. Bungie really needs to embrace the core gamers who evangelize for Destiny, not force them to stop playing. At every least, the exotic upgrades should scale based on the experience and resources poured into the weapon. A fully-maxed exotic shouldn't be reset to zero, or shouldn't have the same costs to upgrade at Xur in terms of strange coins, glimmer, and exotic shards. Players should be rewarded for playing hard since release, not have their knees knocked out from under them to level the playing field artificially.

Modificato da PhilMag38: 12/19/2014 2:15:29 AMRaid gear from VoG should now be able to reach light level 31, new exotic drops in VoG should be upgraded. If you can just buy light level 31 gear and can't get new exotics, your limited to only having to play VoG for ascendant upgrade materials and most people already have alot of them. If the raids are the real endgame, make them have value over time, not just for the moment. Glimmer cap should be increased due to upgrade changes to exotics. You need 7k glimmer just to be able to buy an upgraded exotic. If you need to buy a few your instantly broke, then you won't be able to purchase perks in the weapons skill tree quickly. Radiant upgrade material needs to drop in nightfall. Only being able to get it in a very limited amount of drops via Crotas raid won't allow players to upgrade in time for the hard raid.

41 RisposteOk I'll say it. Majority of these players have spent hours and think because they play more than someone else thier entitled to perks. Thier not and should never be. I like these changes all of them. I'll have better gear out of it. But all those who don't are just people without strategies; they just want to be catered to. They would appreciate it more if they'd ever played a different mmo or even thought of how useless thier blue gear became over time. Thanks bungie, another long time fan.....

1 RispondiModificato da Guardian8446: 12/16/2014 8:41:46 PMVanguard gear should have been left alone at level 29. Bumping vanguard gear to 31 eliminated progression; the centerpiece of Online gaming. Requiring the gear farm in VoG should be a prerequisite to enter Crota's End. As it stands now, VoG will be disregarded by new players because they can easily buy better gear from a vendor; this is a big problem when VoG is only three months old. What you have done is replaced one raid with another. Destiny is already suffering from a lack of content and you've effectively "screwed the pooch" by eliminating VoG as a part if the progression stream.

Until here is an option to upgrade legendaries I will find no reward playing your game. Always knowing that anything you find is essentially a time limited item is boring and uninteresting. I can literally not play your game, come back in a few months and be no worse off than if I played. Here's a crazy idea bungie, k listen up. Make everything upgradable! Everything should be usable I'm endgame. I get it, you want people to play the new raid. Just make the upgrade materials needed to make old gear new drop ONLY in the raid. Problem solved! Currently we have the current options of gear for endgame... Ready for this list? 1.) Raid gear Wow, such a comprehensive list. There are so many possibilities for customization right? If this doesn't change you will have lost a fan. Elder scrolls online here I come!

The new legendary weapons in the tower suck, especially the vanguard weapons. There is nothing worth me spending my vanguard marks on there, so I am being forced to play the stupid crucible which I hate to get my crucible rank up so I can try out some of the faction or crucible weapons. What's really happening is I'm still using my Fatebringer at 300 damage for everything PvE and not being able to use any of the stupid legendaries that I'm getting from engrams. Again, the vanguard vendor has no decent scout rifle or hand cannon, and it really pisses me off.
-
I like the new exotic upgrade paths. Not a fan of how it requires more materials to upgrade legendary weapons vs exotic weapons.

3 RisposteGuess now I'm a week into it it all seems a bit pointless. I've levelled to 31 to be able to do level 30 dailies as I was 29 doing the 28s. The rewards are the same. The relative difficulty is the same. What was the point? Speaking as a mostly solo player I'm grinding away to get back to where I was. My progress has been reversed. I need a whole load of new guns to match my previous ones relative to the content. It would have been better to keep 24 vanguard strikes and 28 dailies at the original rewards and add another shard and/or engram to the new top tier ones. At least I would feel I'm levelling up for something better rather than to get back where I was pre dlc. And whilst you're listening can I have my mats for faction (crucible) marks back. Pretty please? Or add some vanguard mark gear to the faction vendors? Nice to have a bit of choice.
-
Screw your radiant materials. Just let me upgrade FATEBRINGER!
-
2 RisposteWell it is great this week. Next week it will be just like the norm. 3 nightfall and weekly on tues 3 VOG weds 3 Crota thurs Hope xur brings something to upgrade Friday. If not then build exotics I don't use or work on crucible marks.

5 RisposteYou're always listening to the community? BULLSHIT SOO many people are upset with the decisions Bungie has made over the past couple weeks and you guys aren't doing anything about it.

If I had a fully upgraded ice breaker for example and I bought the "NEW and IMPROVED" ice breaker then logic would dictate that the new gun would have all the freaking upgrades as I had put into the gun. Looking for all those mats is not fun sh1t gets old fast. I love the mechanics of the game they feel right but there is a lot of half assing going on here.......
