3 max characters, over 500hrs playtime and still no Gjallarhorn. How did you get yours?
I was a beginner week 2 and couldn't buy it from Xur. Good for you if you "earned" it but I'm hoping it's coming back on Friday, I got 2 Vex Mythoclast, 5 Truth but still no Gjallarhorn :(

Edit: It seems I don't have 500hrs in. I didn't make the number up, the app doesn't show the time anymore so I checked on Xbox Live and that's what I have on there.
Edit 2: Just got a 3rd Vex today. I thought it was supposed to be the hard to get weapon but from what I see, Timepiece, Foil and Gjallarhorn are much harder to obtain.
Edit 3: Finally got one 3 days ago on Crota, while chasing Black Hammer. Took roughly a ridiculous 1300 hours (bungie.net number), madness.

Its RNG does not matter how long or how many runs of activities when it feel like dropping one or more it just drop if not just buckle up and try again.. I got 2 same day on 2 different raids same character.. Beta player.. Some players note its the character loot table reward.. Yes knowing how we got ours will not help you.. But one thing you can try is reroll your character n best of luck soon it will arrive...

I got one of mine from a strike, can't remember which one off hand but it was before the DLC. The second one I can't remember but I do remember just dismantling it.

It's like the 2nd thing Xur ever sold, they practically gave it away to all the day1 guardians And then I got 3 more from nighfall and crucible

First from Crota just under 600 hours, second from Atheon just over 600 hours. Total time is off if you add up my characters, used to have a second Hunter with around 100 hours on it

1 from nightfall, 2 from Crota's End, 1 from Crucible, 1 from VoG chest

Me and my friend both got gjallarhorn in the same nightfall and then I got another from my third nightfall, + plus I already had one so that makes three..... Just going to wait now for all the non-gjallarhorn owners to rage.

Modificato da FuzzyDunlop: 5/6/2015 7:34:53 AMJust sat and worked it out as its starting to annoy me now, 660 active hours (plus I deleted two characters with over 200hrs play time) with 3 maxed characters running Nightfall, Deathsinger, Crota, Crota HM, Gorgon normal and hard and Atheon x3 every week Plus all the Heavy Legendary engrams which decrypt into energy, machine guns and a couple of times Truth and Dragons Breath, never had an Ice Breaker drop either and had to buy all three If the horn ever drops i'll probably just log off and go to bed

2 RisposteI got mine from Crota "hard mode" last night! Got super lucky with under 200hours play time. I hope xur sells it again soon for everyone to get a chance to have it (no it will not break the game). Good luck to you on getting yours, it will be that much sweeter when it finally drops for you

Zero max characters, less than 130 hours in, second ever Crota raid from Deathsinger, got my Gjallarhorn :/ That's after getting Hawkmoon a few days earlier in a ROC strike...
