Let's face it, COD: AW PvP looks better than Destiny PvP by far.
The crucible is near pointless once you have level 30 raid gear or a great legendary arsenal. So what's the point after that?
Call of Duty is for -blam!- you say?
Well, honestly, Halo 3 matchmaking was the best I've ever played by far. Seriously. Don't know why Bungie didn't just rehash it and put it in destiny is beyond me, but let's face the facts here...
Destiny has the crucible: Control, Clash, Skirmish, and Rumble. Your incentive? Marks and rep, that is all.
CoD has, well... Matchmaking: Domination, CTF, Hardpoint, TDM, you name it and it's probably in CoD. Your incentive? Earning Rank 50 i believe it is and to prestige to the max. But wait. There's eSports/League Play as well which is based off the LoL and Starcraft ranking system.
So not only is your incentive to play CoD multiplayer have more longevity for casual players, it also caters to the hardcore and competitive players as well. Something Halo 3 had which made it so great as well as Black Ops 2. But Destiny? Nope.

Halo 3 matchmaking was the best you've ever played??? Wtf??? Now I know you nostalgiaholics talk a lot of shit but ffs this is just too much. So many games people would ragequit and the Halo 3 matchmaking couldn't handle bringing in players to a game that had started so we would be guaranteed a loss. Games often ended 5v3 etc after people leaving early on.

lets face it.. it's subjective. and from where I'm sitting destiny wins in spades. I've had a blast using every singly primary weapon type in pvp. that alone says enough for me to be very happy.

If you hated it before, you'll still hate it. If you prefer Destiny PvP to CoD PvP from previous years, the same will apply to Advanced Warfare. CoD never changes. Whether you think that's a good thing or a bad thing, depends on who you ask. But it is the truth. And on top of all of that, Battlefield PvP is still world's ahead of CoD PvP anyway. So either way, CoD lags behind something regardless.

Sadly cod might be better. I wanted destiny to be my cod killer cuz I was fed up with ghosts. Esp since I played cod for years but back to cod I go. Hope for the best, expect the worst on this one. I hate this mentality but ghosts ruined it!

Not even remotely interested in twitchy shooters. Haven't been for a few years now. Specially CoD and it's mmm...interesting fan base. Crucible is perfectly fine for my slight interest in PvP. Nothing that a few balance passes couldn't fix.

Let me just go play some World at War and then go play the newest CoD and see the difference... oh wait... the only difference is that I can drive a -blam!-ing tank in World at War but cant in the newer titles. But nonetheless the whole entire PvP aspect is the same... weird.. its like history repeats itself or something..

I admittedly am super pumped for CODAW MP. Preordered it and all. However, it's not going to make me quit Destiny. Not a chance. They fill different niches for me. That being said not sure what to expect from AW ... preorders are down 50% from ghosts 80% from blops2 ...

1 RispondiI've got CoD on preorder already paid for but I have no plans on playing the PvP mode. there's no point to it for me anymore. I love what Destiny is trying to be I just wish they did it smarter. I'm holding out hope Destiny gets better and all my exotic and legendary gear has more use in the future.
