Crucible should give materials to ANYONE who completes a match. Too much crap about my original post. Just trying to make the game better.
COMPLETE EDIT OVERHAUL: Far too many people giving me crap about my posts. Many others have trouble understanding my meaning. Lets have this shall we? Crucible should give materials every match, to EVERYONE. All we are trying to do is make the game better and more enjoyable for ALL.
EDIT 1: And still, many people do not understand what I mean, and think this is just another exploit. Depending on which map the planet is on, we could get the materials that the planet has. Like on Earth, we could get Spinmetal, or on Venus, Spirit bloom. We would still have to play PVE content in order to obtain Ascendant materials. In no way, shape or form is this Exploiting. It is the exact same process people go through on patrol missions, albeit much less repetitive and boring.

5 RisposteRNG. The game is built around it. It is no different in the crucible. Nobody should be guarenteed anything. You get additional marks for your effort. If that is not enough motivation for you to continue to play, stop playing.

Agree. When I play PVP I usually get a 0.2 ratio in PVP because I just try and quick scope. I still get rewards. What's the point in helping my team and doing well?

Although I don't agree with the term "guaranteed." I do think we should get a higher chance at items. Even a blue engram for Christ's sake. Even if it is just the winning teams top player. Something/ anything to make others encouraged to play better. I can literally cause my team to lose and still have a chance at receiving an exotic with the current system. I just have to be in the game for the "defeat" screen.

I think the top finishing player, the player with the most assists, people that have not left games in the last 5 or 10 matches, people that have been on a losing streak or consistent death streak and poeple with the most objective based points or medals should all be guaranteed some shards or Acendant Energy or a blue engram. Coins and Motes are a little much for regular Crucible I think it'd be more fitting a reward for top finishes (etc.) in Iron Banner. It would be especially nice if these rewards stacked for anybody that just dominates a match and receives like 4 shards :D

players who run the VEX in multiplayer and get shit on using it don't deserve it but hey who am I to say... also note there were TWO Vex guns on the other team.... both bottom players

3 RisposteI fully agree with this. Regardless how good it is, if it's just an Engram or a Mote of Light or Strange Coin, they should at least get one item before getting the RNG loot. I came top in a crucible match, and everyone below me got an item, while I sat at the top, only having bragging rights. It shouldn't be too big, like a strange coin or a mote of light (something that would normally be difficult to earn, but not a guaranteed legendary Engram, etc. Though I think ascendant energy/shards are acceptable) just because you gave it your all, and held the team strongly even in defeat. Just one guaranteed item, that had an RNG of what the item would be, then be put into the normal RNG pool, in my opinion.

In my opinion, the top players should have a higher chance on earning legendary engrams and exotic items. NOT guaranteed, but higher Majority of the times I end up in 1st place, and 90% of the time I always get something, crappy stuff, but still something. Sometimes it blows my mind, that people who put less effort in game, or simply they failed, earned an exotic or a legendary. It's not like having that stuff will make you good in the Crucible. Seriously! I become so beefy and green, that I just want to jump high, and steal candy from a baby.

I think it should also be guaranteed for top objective players as well. Yesterday i got a .87 kdr on control but i captured 10 flags and ended up with nothing.

The guaranteed chance to get [i]something[/i] from the loot table would be a wise idea. It ain't subverting the RNG too much and it makes the people who carry games actually feel rewarded somewhat. Currently I can, say, double the score of everyone else in the game and be the only one without loot, for example*. Not to mention it'd help avoid posts like this. It gives an extra % chance to get something useful, while still leaving it up to RNG for the most part. *Completely hypothetical, not a rant.

I agree with you, it's not to stop the lower achieving players from getting loot, like at least give the top player on each team a guaranteed rare item or engram or something, otherwise people will just sit on their ass, go afk and reap the rewards. To everyone calling this guy a jackass, you're thinking irrationally, he's providing a sound solution to what is a pvp with a lack of incentive to do well. :/

The best way I see to do it is that you spin a sort or rulett wheel of loot. However, every time you land on a number that number gets blacked out. It would be cool if the randomizer was desighned so that the more your play, the better the odds will be for good loot the next time you play. Guranteeing good loot for top crucible players feels like it would be too unfair to the people who are unable play well or physically [b]can't[/b] play well. Example: I actually have a wird condition that I have recieved in the last few months where my hands have gone numb (like if you were to stick them in ice water for a long time [also I am being seriouse]). I can still move them and perfom basic tasks (video games, typing, using a pencil) but I can't do as much as before (like typing with all fingers) and am extremely lacking in things I used to be able to do like video games, and I am bropping things contantly. I have even lost some abilities altogether (like playing the guitar). I used to be a really good player back during the alpha test but since then my hands have gotten numb. My alpha KD was around 1.8 on average but has since dropped to 0.8 or so. Why should the guy at the top get good gear each match when I [b]cannot[/b] play well but I put in twice as much crucible time? Only the good players want this system but it would be too unfiar and slow for people that have an inability to play well.

I do not play PVP (player vs player) to reap rewards. I play to test my skill against other people with equally sad lives as my own. Why else would I be on a video game when there is so much more life to live! Anyway, random number gen works great for the dynamic destiny has set up. Anything else would not make any sense at all. More possible idea: [b]In 6v6 game types[/b] First place: 70% loot Second place: 60% loot Third place: 50% loot etc.... [b]In 3v3 game types[/b] First place; 60% loot Second place: 50% loot Third place: 40% loot. There could be more complex systems for what kind of loot you get, but this is a basic outline.[spoiler]I made this in like a minute, so it may not be perfect I know[/spoiler]

Yeah the best performing players in pvp should at least be rewarded with something small at least. Maybe like a coin or something that can be spent at an "elite" shop selling special legendaries or elite class items/shaders or something. The fact that it's completely random provides an equal opportunity for everyone and that's a good thing, but it lacks the incentive to do well in pvp.

So the only reason you are playing the game is to obtain loot? That's all you strive for outta this game? What about COD when you play over and over and over and get nothing?? When you are the top rank person and get nothing? Why do you neeeed to get something in order to keep playing?
