COMPLETE EDIT OVERHAUL: Far too many people giving me crap about my posts. Many others have trouble understanding my meaning. Lets have this shall we? Crucible should give materials every match, to EVERYONE. All we are trying to do is make the game better and more enjoyable for ALL.
EDIT 1: And still, many people do not understand what I mean, and think this is just another exploit. Depending on which map the planet is on, we could get the materials that the planet has. Like on Earth, we could get Spinmetal, or on Venus, Spirit bloom. We would still have to play PVE content in order to obtain Ascendant materials. In no way, shape or form is this Exploiting. It is the exact same process people go through on patrol missions, albeit much less repetitive and boring.

5 RisposteModificato da Sebs Ingram: 10/5/2014 11:02:59 PMI have a bigger problem playing the Queens Wrath missions 4 times a day and getting the exact same -blam!-ing chest piece every god damned time, even though I already had it equipped.
-
how to get reward in crucible be the worst player in the game
-
3 RisposteIam not a huge fan of PvP, but with your method I could just camp and get rewarded......Not good
-
9 RisposteWhat I would think would give me a lot more intensive to play the PVE at the moment is being rewarded more upgrade materials. So for example, you win a PVE match, you get 10 relic Iron if it was on mars. The chest farming in this game is not fun by any stretch of the imagination. I don't have much time to play at the moment and I don't want to spend that time running around in a circle praying for chests to spawn.

2 RisposteYall are a bunch of try hard little bitches. Crying cause you dont get anything from the crucible. If you want Legendary stuff, go buy it from the Crucible quartermaster then. Quit crying and play the -blam!-ing game,
-
Go back to North Korea you commy!
jks. I think its a great idea, get the materials from which ever planet the map is on.
For the current state of PvP, I think this isn't a bad idea. It might be a good temporary fix for too many people leaving mid match but not for the long run. I think awarding items instantly for completing (keyword completing) a match allows for too much afk and not much room for encouraging players to get better or grow. A rewarding system shouldn't be the same for both PvP and PvE. PvE makes sense as most content can be completed solo and if you have two other friends online, you aren't necessarily going to screw them over and afk during strikes. The problem comes from queuing up with random players and they afk, which makes for a hard strike, but not to the point of complete failure. PvP needs a system where after you've successfully won (keyword won) a match/several matches to counter afk. The more players on your team that play correctly/objectively and don't afk will increase your chances at win which will increase your chances at loot. When both systems sharing a common loot system, the player leans toward the easiest route, not all but many. This, I feel, needs to be corrected before PvP can be as enjoyable as its meant to be.

I agree completely. Guaranteed materials, win or loss, would certainly be appreciated.
-
It seems like an odd way to address the issue of people abandoning matches, maybe there is a better method.
-
COMMY!!!! Lol
-
4 RisposteIf you finish the match you should get something, its totally bullshit that a guy with 0.4 kd gets engrams and the people who went 1+ get nothing. Why play crucible then?
-
9 RisposteWhat would really make the crucible more enjoyable for all is a player rating system that would put low level characters together and not pair them up with people that are 20 levels higher than them. I got the quest or whatever at level 5 to go to crucible...yeah - and not only was it an exercise in utter failure but of course... I got no kills (duh at level 5 I'm a gnat trying to hit a semi truck) even though I did help cap the shrines many times. So end of story...my decision is that there's no point to even playing it until I'm minimum level 20. Seriously...either don't give the quest out at level 5 OR make the team selections a little smarter - so at least I have a CHANCE at some loot. Please.
-
So crucible should had out participation awards to everyone? Whats the point of even trying if I can just que up for crucible and sit in the corner?
-
2 Rispostedepending on how good you did in a crucible match should increase your chances of getting a reward. their reward system is so weird. its like by doing something unique you get something like exotic or legendary. or motes of light. and strange coins seem just random
-
Modificato da WheeleJack: 10/6/2014 1:43:07 PMthe only thing the top players should really get is more rep points and thats it while the whole team, gets at least either a encrypted engram or a random armor and/or weapon
-
4 Risposteyeah let full party boosting begin, i dont see why people that actually suck at this game and are usually the main reason you lose games in the first place get anything to begin with. it's not like them going 3 kills and 14 deaths benefits anyone. this random bullsht is worse than halo reach was and you want it to be like halo reach? we all know how that boat sank. people do not want random sht all the time, nor do they want an even reward for everyone, they want something in return for their performance during the game itself. wich boils down to that the good kids get rewards and the bad kids don't. that's step 1 for a competitive game. now before you all trash me on this, we move on to step 2 wich is SKILLBASED MATCHMAKING. why? so the badkids play the badkids and the goodkids play the goodkids and gives a reason to actually win the game. it filters itself out, people play people of their own skill wich gives room to improve themselves and also rewards for good performance.
-
4 RisposteAgreed that top players should be guaranteed loot. Whether it's Crucible, or PvE, whoever does the best should always get something. Personally I wouldn't care if it's just a rare engram, but something should be given to the top player for their effort. I would rather engrams than gear, but that's just me. I would even rather a mote of light, ascendant materials or a strange coin. It's just utterly disappointing to have the most kills, most points, etc. in a match and walk away with nothing.
-
No it should be if you dont leave 10 matches. As in finish 10 matches in a row, Get some energy
-
This really needs to happen for oblivious reasons: 1) Destiny will matchmake pugs against premades Fireteam of six inexperienced people can murder 6 solo pvp masters 2) Teams are often unbalanced 95% wins for team with more people 3) Luck Winning has more to do with getting a good pug than "skillz" Current systems rewards socializing and luck over pvp. Both teams need equal rewards.
-
3 Rispostethen how do you reward defenders in control matches? That map isn't about how many kills you get but rather how many nodes you can keep defended. The node defenders aren't going to be very high on kills, but they damn sure are the reason that you won.
-
Brand new clan looking for raid team members. Help us start our clan! - It almost seems like the people who come in last place are more likely to receive loot. I agree with you completely.
-
So people criticize you and you completely change your opinion. Nice
-
3 RisposteTop players ARE guaranteed loot, they get more crucible marks and complete bounties easier, allowing them to buy their loot sooner and easier than most. You're also the top player, which is it's own reward.
-
1 RispondiStuff like Spinmetal, sure. Heck, give them however much of the material as they got kills, and make it from the planet they played on. So somebody with 12 kills on Bastion would get 12 Relic Iron. If you're talking Ascendants, pffffffft.
-
1 RispondiShould only give it to people who come first, a small additional reward for being more skilled. F@$k the shitters.
-
5 RisposteI got my purple shotgun from the Crucible and its all I ever use anymore.
