COMPLETE EDIT OVERHAUL: Far too many people giving me crap about my posts. Many others have trouble understanding my meaning. Lets have this shall we? Crucible should give materials every match, to EVERYONE. All we are trying to do is make the game better and more enjoyable for ALL.
EDIT 1: And still, many people do not understand what I mean, and think this is just another exploit. Depending on which map the planet is on, we could get the materials that the planet has. Like on Earth, we could get Spinmetal, or on Venus, Spirit bloom. We would still have to play PVE content in order to obtain Ascendant materials. In no way, shape or form is this Exploiting. It is the exact same process people go through on patrol missions, albeit much less repetitive and boring.

2 RisposteBecause you can get loot drops every 10-15 minutes, besides, I thought PvP was to play against other people, not for guaranteed loot...
-
Then it would be too easy
-
2 RisposteThe crucible reward system seems like a chance thing, but I agree that it needs to be tweaked. Such as when you do terrible, you have a low chance of getting blues, lower chance to get purples, and a near non-existent chance to get exotic. The better you do, you get a higher the chance gets for blues, purples, and yellows, while also getting a lower chance to get whites and greens. Something along those lines.
-
We should all get rare engrams at least
-
7 RisposteWhy? They are easy to get as it is. They don't need to be handed out as a participation prize.
-
I agree with this. No one leaves empty handed even if its just spinmetal.
-
1 RispondiI think the system works fine. PvE and PvP players alike have to go on patrol to farm materials. We all have to run around Old Russia looking for Spinmetal or worse... Relic Iron on Mars. I'd be more pissed after Crucible to see some guy get a purple engram and end up with 2 Spinmetal for myself.
-
I support this.
-
Well, anyone who completes a match in the Crucible has a chance at getting an Exotic weapon. The same chance as everyone else...if that doesn't get people to stay during the entire match, I doubt planet resources that are guaranteed would help.
-
Nah. Then pvp would have almost everything.
-
3 RisposteThat would be way too easy. At least force the player to kill 20+ for it.
-
I pretty much only play pve unless a bounty sends me in to PVP, I love this idea, I have great respect for PVP players skill, instead of forcing them to literally farm out of their element. Let them play the way they want but still earn materials. However, maybe just 1 per match.
-
20 RisposteThis is an even worse idea....
-
3 RisposteMan if you bought this game expecting to be able to max your character out by playing just pvp, you bought the wrong game. Cod will be out soon or BF is a few months out.
-
4 RisposteEvery body thinks you meant ascendant materials lol I did at first 2 util I read edit 1. Yeah this is a good idea I like it do this.
-
3 RisposteThey want you to do both pvp and pve. You cannot max your guardian's potential without both. Some exotic bounties and legendary items need pvp to obtain. Raid gear, resources, some legendaries and exotics, require pve. Forcing pve players into pvp gives pvp players noobs to shoot. Forcing pvp players into pve give pve players more random encounters and help with tough missions. I'm more of a pve player and tend to stay away from pvp for the most part but I appreciate the system and the driving force to keep people from only doing one. Guardians are to defend the city (pve). Guardians should hone their skills and help with internal city issues( pvp).
-
3 Risposteno because people who don't even try to participate do not deserve a reward for doing absolutely nothing
-
1 RispondiI feel bad for you man, you are just trying to make the game better, that's what all players should want.
-
5 RisposteI disagree, materials are hard to come by for a reason, use crucible marks to buy gear and break it down... This isn't an everyone gets a trophy 21st century kindergarten class.
-
I agree with you completely. Especially as some coming from a competitive FPS background - Killzone, Halo, etc... I really do not get what's with all the people who are trying to compare this game to Borderlands, a game which I've never touched. Almost every time that I criticize this game's RNG based loot system, someone has to saying something along the lines of: "That's how Borderlands was like." Did Bungie/Activision ever draw any comparison to Borderlands when they advertised Destiny? Did Bungie make any mention of Borderlands at all during these past few months of advertising and hype build-up? I sure as hell don't remember them doing so. The two game that they did make inference towards were Halo and COD. I know that COD is crap, but at least it gave everyone the option of choosing what-ever weapon he/she desired to use. Yes, many weapons were OP in Halo, and more so in COD, but at least players had the option of using those weapons themselves for the most part. The closest thing that Halo ever had to this RNG system is the ordinance drop in Halo 4.
-
I can agree with this
-
1 RispondiSo strikes should give materials? When you turn in bounties? Farm them like everyone else and shut your pie hole.
-
34 RisposteYou just said you wanted it to be fair, which the rng system is, as everyone has an equal opportunity for loot, but then say you want it changed to where only the top gets a guarantee loot drop, which would be unfair to everyone else. Im also fine with strikes getting random pvp loot as well, as long as I can complete every one of them in 10 minutes or less.
-
i agree. too many times i win a match and have either one of the highest or have the highest kills and score in the match and i don't get crap. I'm kinda of sick of it.
-
1 RispondiI completely agree. I got in last place in the crucible the other day and got a strange coin and a rare pulse rifle. The guy who got in first got nothing. No worries man. I got ya back.

5 RisposteModificato da Sebs Ingram: 10/5/2014 11:02:59 PMI have a bigger problem playing the Queens Wrath missions 4 times a day and getting the exact same -blam!-ing chest piece every god damned time, even though I already had it equipped.
