Proof you don't need to capture flags to win

2 RisposteYeah it goes both ways with this game mode. I've seen matches where you don't need to get any flags and I've also seen matches where the whole team had better k/d and the other team still won cuz they played the flags better

Of course you don't, but it is part of the objective of the game mode and it does help a lot. If you just want to get kills and not worry about an objective, play TDM. In the Beta I know we couldn't, but you understand what I'm saying. Getting a ton of kills in TDM or a similar game mode, kudos to you. Getting a ton of kills in an objective game mode where you're purposefully ignoring the objective, does not impress me.

3 RisposteAnyone who paid any attention knows flag caps themselves do nothing. However a team with 3 flags requires waaaay less effort to win. Thankfully for you that team was apparently trash.

18 RisposteThat may be true but their 37 kills is equal to 111 kills with all points captured to your 143 kills with no points captured. Even though you out killed them they only needed 10 more kills to tie your team points wise. So if you don't run with a skilled team or if they had someone else on their team like their top player you would have lost.

1 RispondiBecuase the point of the game is not to capture these points . It's to reach 20000 points with your team. Capturing the objectives just means you get more points for each kill.

So if your team is very good and die less, then you win regardless of how many objectives you team captured/holds.

13 RisposteYou don't need petrol to move a car forward, doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. If you're going to fight randoms with a 6-man team, yeah. You can probably get by without capping flags. Thankfully, I'm pretty sure everyone knew this.
