Deej a question that was asked last week which was "is there going to be a collectors edition?" And you replied "ask again next week." well I am asking . Will there be a collectors edition? I am wondering this to see wether I should preorder now and get a beta code or pre order when the limited edition is announced but if I wait I might miss out on the beta codes

Actually for people who preordered, the regular game is still the same, but for those that want the limited edition the probably will just have to pay more than the price of the regular edition. Most retailers would honor your pre-order if you wish to pay the full price of the limited edition.

Yeah when I went inyo GAME I saw a poster saying £20 deposit for collectors edition.

I got my beta code for free at a retail store. And i have seen ppl getting it for like, 5$. So why not get the beta now to be sure. And if you want too, Get the limited edition when it drops. Im sure you can survive with losing the 5$ you put down.

Some people could use the money for other gaming items or even for groceries, some gamers have budgets that keep them from getting games opening day, and that is why pre-order was started. So people didn't have to worry about not being able to get a copy of the game.

Go to bungies webpage and go to the destiny preorder site. It will give you a list of all the participating stores that sells or gives beta codes.
