Golden gun is lasting way too long in PVP. Limit it to 6 shots or massively reduce the run time.

  • Spectral Blades is worse. Imho. Almost unkillable and lasts "forever".

  • Too long? Buddy, only 3 shot Goldie lasts long… 6 shot goes out the window unless your team can spawn trap the other team so the super extended…

    • The fact that it has no damage fall off and a heck of a lot of aim assist makes it very hard to counter. And I’ve seen people kill a team of six two times before the super ends. It’s way too easy to spam.

      • As much as it is, that would pretty much kill it in every part of the game, since marksman will just take its place and well it’s never been really useful in pve I have fun with it but it’s not that big of a deal Plus the only reason it’s charging up so quick is that picking up a crest gives you super energy and well hunters do pick up a lot of crest thanks to their dodge pick up that works in PvP

      • 6 shot golden gun is crazy in 6v6 modes, because every kill refunds ammo and gives more time in super. Then again, Winter's Wrath and Dawnblade on Warlock and Fist of Havoc, Glacial Quake and Hammer of Sol on Titan are also crazy. Plus, pretty much any other super shuts down 6-shot golden gun, and golden gun has no damage resistance (need confirmation).

          The duration only feels long because the guy is getting kills with an ability that can OHK at like 50 meters give or take. Before it didn't extend the duration on what I'm pretty sure is still the shortest super at base, but gave shots back when you caused ignitions and that used to require a fragment. And the current state was meant more as a PvE buff than pvp. The other half of the problem is the games spawns being so terrible that any other game would've either implemented spawn invincibility, let players decide where or when they spawn, damage reflection for a few seconds after spawning, or started banning people depending on how they manipulated the spawns. Yes, depending on how it's achieved, spawn manipulation is considered cheating/ exploiting. Trash spawns and GG is how I got my first Seventh Column despite being here since the D1 beta. Since Bungie is allergic to fixing the spawns, the only thing I can see them doing is reducing the range on Deadshot GG to force them to compete within the ranges of regular weapons, but that would likely (and should) result in a buff to the damage resistance and/ or damage itself.

        • Just do something I have not done since D1 but works perfectly. Also run as a Hunter and just tether them. Problem solved. Sadly you have to be really fast because most prime GG Hunters are extremely fast and accurate, that's the real problem for me. By the time I try to do something to nix them or at least their super I'm already a smoking pile of ash.
