Bungie has long prided itself on being a studio that stands for 'Everyone.' You have released the Sunflower emblem for Ukraine and held major fundraisers for that cause. However, there remains a glaring absence of official support or representation for the children and civilians in Palestine.
By providing an official platform for one conflict while ignoring the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, you are creating a double standard. If the Bungie Foundation’s mission is truly to 'support children and humanitarian aid,' then that mission should be applied universally, not selectively based on political safety. We are asking for an official emblem or a dedicated fundraiser that acknowledges the crisis in Palestine, just as you did for Ukraine.

I'm locking this thread.

Or they could focus on the game instead video games are meant to be an escape from reality I don't need real life stuff in them at all.

2 RisposteWhen are you ppl gonna realize that companies and employees dont actually give a crap about any of the "causes" they pretend to support ? They do whatever their investors tell them to do. Whoever owns the most shares of a company is who decides what "causes" they support, not Bungie itself or any of the devs. Those investors dont just own majority shares in various other companies, but they donate heavily to whichever political party they're in cahoots with. None of these ppl "believe" in anything they support or donate to. They believe in the almighty dollar. Quid Pro Quo. Wearing one of these BS "representation" emblems (or bumper stickers) doesnt actually DO anything for the cause it claims to support. All it does is show which investor has managed to buy your opinion as if it were just another share.
-
Maybe don't look to corporations for your "cause" validation? They only want your money and don't actually care about anything else.
-
If bungie would just focus on their jobs, everyone would be equally left out, and we would have a better game.

Modificato da IainG10: 3/31/2026 12:01:35 PMThe number of people in this comments section that think every Palestinian supports Hamas is frankly disturbing. They voted Hamas in once in 2007, and haven't been able to get rid of them since; it's not like any Israeli government since the country's formation has been pro-Plaestinian gun ownership, but other extremists have happily channelled illegal firearms into Hamas' hands. Saying every Palestinian supports Hamas and Oct 7th is like saying every American supports ICE and what happened to Renee Good and Alex Pretti; the average citizen of each nation had about as much say in the events. If you think equivalence sounds insane; congratulations, you know know how you sound to people that bothered to look into the history leading to the situation and looked at more than one source. Of course Hamas should not be supported, and should cede power or be removed if they refuse, but it turns out the world is a complex place, and if you think children being starved is ok as long as 'the bad guys get what's coming to them', well, 1930-40s Germans thought that, and look at what modern Germans' opinion on that is. But yeah, really, Bungie aren't who you should be donating to for any charity stuff; donate directly to relevant charities.

I'd rather they support this game than your cause.

Not withstanding Bungie out right ignoring the Christians being whole sale slaughters in -blam!-. There are only so many causes a company like Bungie can support especially given their current state. Ukraine was invaded by a larger more powerful country, Rusia. Gaza picked a fight with a fight, started a war with Israel. Gaza, palestinians, are the aggressor that started the war just like Russia is the aggressor in Ukraine. Also do not ignore that Israel warns them of approaching fighters. Israel has given more than 1 million tons of food and supplies, in conjunction with their allies, to the palestinians. Palestinians have voted for the government they have for the past 60 years. They, the people of Gaza, wanted this war. They fill the ranks of the military, and feed the coffers of Hamas. If they wanted peace, they should have immediately surrendered all hostages and stood down. They did not. All they are capable of at this point is crying like it is not their own fault. It is a situation of their own making. You lie int he bed you make. I wish them no ill will. They however have proved again and again that all they care about id killing Israelis. Until they give that up, they will never have peace.

It's better for everyone that we don't support terrorist regimes...

Don’t Palestine blow up a hospital?

4 RisposteGaming is an escape from the realities of life, a distraction. There was a time when sport, music and film were similar. So regardless of what Bungie has done in the past, I don't want politics in gaming thanks, it has already ruined most other relaxing activities.

1 RispondiI don't think for one minute, that bungo, will give money to the people who need it, If they can Capitalise on getting money out of the players saying it's for a good cause, they will. Only before Christmas i went and bought a total stranger a laptop because a shop i go to happen to mention someone she new couldn't afford a new computer to use at work, as the one she was using was old and kept having problems with it. I was happy to help her out, i even got the shop a brand new printer.

The ones they choose are virtue signalling, news channels do the exact same thing. There's wars all over the world daily & they're never mentioned unless it benefits the company giving the news. It's usually involving money, just like the wars themselves.

It’s because American businesses (and the president) are so tied to being friends with certain nations that they will even start wars for them. The world is run by people who aren’t fair or caring. And big corporations all have agendas. It’s not Bungie’s fault. IGN even had to remove news stories that highlighted the fact that the nation we can’t be bad against was committing genocide. This is because their owning company is owned by someone of that descent and religious standing. It works the other way too across all ethnicities/religions. This is why far right and far left movements are getting more and traction. I’m just happy (at the moment) that my nation refuses to get sucked into an illegal war.

3 RisposteAnd how about the unprovoked attack on a children’s school in Persia whilst they were at their desks? Slaughter of The Innocents 👈 This madness will end in tears…for those responsible. And the world looked the other way at the genocide in Ghaza. Cave! Cave! Deus Videt! 👈👈 Beware! Beware! God sees all things! Pax and God Bless! 😔

Modificato da Sen: 3/30/2026 4:51:19 PMYou can do this all by yourself instead of a gaming company setting it up in a way for you to contribute to what you personally believe in.

2 Risposte... this is a video game company, not a political party

Bungie has long prided itself. >Prided itself. Bungie has long since given up all pretense of 'pride' Once, they were a proud company, that had respect. Now, they are more like a disheveled alcoholic homeless person, shambling around from one disaster to another, thinking it's important that they go shout at the pigeons in the local square.
-
Surely this is a wind up?

Bungie can't support every incident that happens around the world.
