What have you done Bungie?
You killed your prime jewel for this slop?
This was either a targeted destruction of Destiny to try to promote Marathon and bring D2 players in to it or Marathon is one big money laundering before the end of your company.
Well guess what, you killed my favorite game but I am still not playing and paying for your Marathon, as well as may other D2 players so you failed hard
In fact, I am glad you failed and flopped so hard. I am glad games like Arc raiders showed you who's boss. I am glad the small projects like Slay the Spire humiliated you. You deserve every bit of it.

They listened to a select few Streamers regarding the health of the game. Many streamers held similar sentiments to that of the community. So I don't want to disparage all of them. But the select few they catered to and held their ear were out for their own bag. Not the health of the game. At any point in time Bungie could've received, processed and implemented the feedback that 80% of the community was united behind. Instead they didn't. And that's why we should all question the intentionality of their moves. Targeted destruction feels real for a good reason....

They discarded Destiny like trash and threw all their eggs into the Marathon basket. Instead of fixing their screwups in Destiny they decided that Marathon was the golden egg. They didn't work on the Shadow and Order update until they were done with Marathon then came out and told us with less than 2 weeks to the release that they had delayed it until June and can't even mention they release of any new content. They have killed their game, their player base and their studio will follow.

FACTS!! I had a similar post and Bungie took it down and threaten to ban me. Bungie is so copiun bruh. They still believe players wanna continue playing this dead game when steam charts show 4k current players online. Their arrogance killed the game and made everyone quit D2. Well deserved if you asked me.

Didn't make mechanics the forefront of difficulty. Deltas suck. I do like the modifiers to some extent tho. Also not just ending it on "The Final Shape" and making Destiny 3 or ending the series.

Marathon should have been Destiny PVP Evolved and bolted on to Destiny 3. Abandoning Destiny when it’s in death throes to go and work on something else in the hopes you fix and run 2 complex games at once is insane.
