You've been abandoned, please stop ignoring it
Short and simple.
Destiny doesn't get a roadmap after months of promises/kicking that can down the road, but Marathon gets one before launch. Please just look at this and recent history. Bungie doesn't care about you, the players of Destiny. They only care about the potential players of Marathon. The more you play and the more you buy, the more you are enabling this.
Actually do something to show you're upset by not playing(there's other lootershooters that aren't borderlands). Or don't. It'll ruin your own hobby, so you do you ig

Totally agreed. If I played and love Destiny why would I play Marathon? Marathon is the main reason that Destiny and its community are going thru this. But u know what’s even worst than Bungie? The people that see and know how F Up Bungie is and yet they keep kissing their -blam!- by playing Marathon. That’s why Bungie keeps doing this! Because Bungie knows that they can treat the Destiny community like 💩 and they will still wait in line to get feed more 💩 by Bungie.

Read the writing on the wall. It’s over here. They sealed the game on a Star Wars collaboration. I like it. I got into this game as a huge SW and Halo fan. I’m not a fan of either anymore. It’s time now to watch Destiny quietly go away. Maybe it could be tied to my mom slowly currently passing away that I’m in a phase of letting go. Destiny has helped distract me from many dark times in my life. I wish it could be how I remember to get me through this. But it did its job. Thanks for reading.

At the end of the day if marathon fails it's not going to matter anything for destiny 2 The Sony will shut down Bungie for good. Sony doesn't play around you don't come through they shut you down.

You can do something about it. Be vocal. Be sure Sony and Bungie know your discontent. Vote with your wallet. Consumers have power over these AAA corporations if we choose to use it. If it fails, Sony isn’t going to abandon the Destiny franchise. Much like Disney and Star Wars. Even after a long run of failures & rough road - the Destiny franchise is a well established IP that has proven to have interest from the public and proven to sell when done correctly.

Sure, they tucked pvp-(ve)- in there but make no mistake, this Bng is a different company than the one that made halo/destiny1. This is a game for the pvp crowd since they made all the pve people quit.

1 RispondiThings may only get worse. Looking at the server slam numbers it doesn't look like marathon will be as big as it needs to be. It will do ok at least but I doubt it will sell as much as it needs to in order to break even. Bungie will then have to decide to save one game or the other and with marathon being their newest they may put everything into marathon and let destiny rot. They screwed destiny up too much at this point. But Sony isn't going to fund a failing studio for long and the fact is bungie is a failing studio. Im not sure if they even cover their payroll much less everything else.

Marathon got a roadmap because it is a new game. Like any other new game they only release at most 3/4 of what they have on the initial release date. The road map is stuff that should have been in the game day one anyways. Almost every game does this.

Nobody is playing now, it's historically low, that's why they've abandoned ship. It sucks that they -blam!- it up and that's why no one is playing, but seriously, no one is playing and the game is at about cancelation levels of players.
