I'm sure there are ppl who play 99% PvP are happy to get a weapon that is only obtained via PvE from Zavala to take into Crucible. Works both ways. It's also great for new or returning players who may have missed the window for certain weapons. And we get drowned in loot as is. Tho a lot of it is insta-dismantle. At least it gives BlueBoy a purpose.. unlike most NPCs who have little to no use in the game.

Comp is mostly what I play in PvP and I'm totally fine with it being sold this week. The ones I got week one has been great for me since I can use it in both PvP or PvE. Matter of fact I hardly use this SMG anymore. I'm more fond of Something Something instead. Let everyone have this gun. Next week all we're going to hear about is from people who didn't log in and grab it.

I randomly received this weapon on the second day of the Season from an Engram on the weekly Portal reward track without even touching PvP, so it wasn’t [i]strictly necessary[/i] to have played Comp to get a drop before it showed up at Zavala. Those that commit to playing an Activity to chase specific items reap the benefits of having a higher likelihood of getting a drop with the [i]exact[/i] Stats/Perks that they want perhaps weeks or even months before those who wait for it to show up at a vendor only to be presented with a limited selection of options which might not quite be what they want.
