cannot disable cross save
My steam account and my microsoft account are linked through cross save, my microsft account was hacked and stolen and i have not been able to recover it i cant unlink them because i can not authenticate the stolen microsoft account. im afraid that who ever has the microsoft account will mess with my game. is there any sort of work around to disable cross save?

Hello there, Unfortunately, there is no way to disable cross save without being able to authenticate all linked accounts. In this case, you will need to continue to work with Microsoft support to regain control of the xbox account in question. It is also worth mentioning, that your character and progress is currently tied to your xbox account, disabiling cross save will render them only accessabile on Microsoft platforms.
