Warlord’s Ruin New Solo Emblem: Who’s going for it?
I consider myself a competent player, but I’ve never soloed a dungeon before. I know we’re crazy powerful now, and praxic blade is in our arsenal- but for those of you going for the new emblem, what do you plan on using?
I guess my main question is for the final boss being long range. I was thinking Levi’s breath for damage, but you’ve also gotta take down all the eyes, so maybe pair with a legendary bow as well?
Any thoughts?
(Oh yeah the challenge is glaives, bows, and swords only.)

Unfortunately the armour grind has killed my give a crap, I’m on week six of nothing but pinnacle ops trying to get armour with stats where I want them. I still have one piece to get, once I have that I’m not touching this game until the major update, I’d just stop now but I’m too damn stubborn to quit lol To answer your question, leviathans breath would definitely be what I tried first, with an explosive head bow for the eyes. But I’d have my inventory full of different bows just to try a bunch out to see what worked the best. Ppl shouldn’t sleep on Trinity ghoul with the catalyst for add clear in the rest of the dungeon either, I’ve used it in many dungeons.

4 RisposteThe flying meatball is gonna be fun with just sword and bows. :) I like Warlord but I doubt I’ll have the will to do it solo. Right of the bat, safe play, I would go Titan Strand + stronghold Praxic + reflector mod Submersion crossbow for some heavy shot on the meatball Just reflecting everything to the boss with Praxic, apply sever + BW active for survivability. Not the fastest way I’m sure but should work.

I’ll definitely give it a go. While I imagine most people who plan on going for the Emblem already have experience soloing the final encounter, here’s a tip for anybody that has had issues passing the [b]Hex[/b] debuff between damage phases; use a [b]Blind[/b] effect against the immune Scorn. While [b]Blinded[/b] these mobs will be too busy stumbling about to actively engage you, making it incredibly easy to either pass the Hex effect back to them or avoid being hit altogether. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

I’ll still think about doing it though cause it is a cool concept. It is one of the dungeons I haven’t done solo and I had done a couple of them last season for the titles I never bothered to get, so there’s a little extra incentive there too.

For those that don't have much solo dungeon exp, it's also a solid incentivet to challenge themselves and grant a reward for doing so. I'll prob just use praxic blade, a bow with explosive payload and a cross bow

I'm not even going to bother with this. It's a 'walk to the North Pole, now walk there again, this time with a Mars Bar in your back pocket' kind of challenge. Pointless.

I plan to go for it, and I almost exclusively play pvp. The last time I played pve for more than just 30min to an hour was during that top 1% thing at the end of last expansion so that I could get the emblem. Ended up just doing Salt Mines until I got top 1%, but actually had fun, which I usually don't in pve - outside of dungeons and raids. I might be kinda screwed though, because I don't have a Praxic Blade and I missed out on that armor set that helps sword builds.

5 RispostePeople will just use the same builds as always. We are in an ability focused meta. Titans will dps with their hammers and wormgod.(yes you can dps the final boss with bonk titan) Warlocks will just use whatever nade/buddy spam build. And hunters, idk i dont think many hunters will go for it as the final boss will be tedious as hell without ranged weapons...maybe thr heavy void arbalest with the dmg glitch, or the levis breatt. We dont need to flawless so it will be easy.

Vexcalibur will be the go for sure. This will be a marathon too so dont stress about how many damage phases you'll need to do

Nope. I'm not a solo dungeon-type player. I'd be curious what percentage of active players this appeals to. My perception is this is for a somewhat small group. I don't mind challenges/ events that are beyond my skill, but the timing supports the narrative that this game isn't for average players anymore.

2 RisposteI have not flawlessed Warlords solo, but I did a solo run yesterday (died at final boss). I will be trying the challenge... thinking of a few loadouts. I generally main Voidwalker, and used to main Le Monarch a few seasons ago, so that may be where Is start with. I dont have much in inventory of glaives, bows or swords... since I dont use them much, and deleted most to make space for armor sets last season. But if I run Le Monarch, that rules out Praxic Blade, so Rake Angle in top slot, and Sullen Claw for traversal and 86 for damage phases to get ability energy back (grenade build). If I want to use Praxic Blade, I may use Fortunate Star, with Repulsor/Exploding I run the fragment for volatile rounds and typically use a void energy like Martlet/High Tyrant, so destabilizing rounds is redundant. The only bows that I still have are Mercury, Hushed Whisper, Astynax, and Fortunate Star (basically deleted all bows/glaives that were not "new gear". And glaives I never even crafted the Enigma for the quest because I didnt like glaives.

1 RispondiMaybe test some things you might think would be good over the weekend. Since it has to be in one go next week it is probably better to figure out what you should use now rather later.
