this seasons anti champion weapons are godawfully bad
"but you can use abilities" it's a one trick pony that does not work when you have a bazillion overloads and antibarrier in the same room
"oh, but there are special mods this season" yeah, with a chance so low to get, just like the crossbow last season (before the event)
like other thread said, this game is hardly fun anymore

1 RispondiSo, I figured it out. It's all about the mods this season. Do orders and activities until you get a legendary one then reroll it until its a weapon order with a lawless mod payout. Not sure if these are accessible to ppl with out the expansion though. So its definitely not a great solution and these mods should just be permanent features.

Yup they are terrible options for sure. Like I don’t want to use a bow or a sniper rifle for anti-barrier champions.

1 RispondiModificato da PS1 Hagrid: 12/9/2025 3:03:07 AMLaughs in near 200 melee and peregrine greaves. Hey just saying if you don't mind running shoulder charge this is the way, trust me. It won't one shot unstoppable but with a certain setup it will still stun unstoppable and nearly one shot them. However everything else it one shots, even overload. Not to mention against bosses it's a huge chunk of damage, be careful though has sometimes it doesn't count for some reason.

2 RisposteFrom my test at the range at -30, Ace of Spades cook, and so is Thorn, for barrer champ. For the rest Submersion with chill clip is the way. I haven’t had any issue so far having all 3 champ covered on a build especially with abilities. But I had issue with the crossbow not activating on Unstoppable champions.

Yeah, im glad I got the unstoppable mod. Using the bow stinks. The unfortunate issue for me is i don't like the venting action n the new guns. I mean, I reaaaalllly don't like the venting guns. I didn't use the last exotic because it's got that overheating feature.

The mod changing is played out. Just give every archetype an intrinsic champion perk permanently and call it a day. Exotics can still have whatever intrinsics despite the archetype to mix it up.

The artifact mods are seriously horrible this season. … and -blam!- that stupid lightsaber I won’t use it. Every ultimate or anything hard the guys who use it get jack -blam!- for kills and die over and over.

Question boss, you main Titan I assume, but looking closer at what you’re saying and what I’m not seeing on your end compared to the artifact mods, do you feel you’re being pigeon holed into playing the “stasis” refraction core praxic blade for its slow against overloads plus a hand cannon in your energy slot to deal with the champs? To me it looks like that’s what was intended but I feel that if you’re upset and annoyed with the contradiction of “play your way” with “but chew on this and these -blam!- champs” I definitely have been there. I wanna see for myself what you’re suffering boss what’s the worst case of the overloads and barriers being jerks to you which mission and modifiers if you recall?

9 RisposteModificato da Yes, it's an alt account: 12/7/2025 11:50:57 PMIve gotten 2 of the mods already. One that enables anti-barrier. Theyre not that rare. I do agree the mods are kinda trash. That said, theyre workable. Ice Breaker - anti-barrier New comp smg - Overload Outbreak - Overload Submersion with Chill Clip - Overload Unstoppable is bad because bows are still bad in PVE but you can always use either Leviathan's Breath or just slot a legendary bow specifically for that and nothing else. I find between an incredible Conquest weapon like Outbreak and my abilities, I dont need a special weapon.
